Works well for mild cat allergy
I have a mild cat allergy and use this on my indoor kittens once a month or every other month. It’s easy to put on them, they don’t seem to mind it. This combined with a daily allergy pill and I’ve had no issues with the cats! I believe it recommends using weekly, so for outdoor cats or a more severe allergy that would probably help more. Using it like I do this is lasting for a while. It’s got a very neutral smell. I recommend giving this a try for anyone with allergies!

I CAN KEEP MY CAT AND GET ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 CAT HOUSE because of this product!
Ok so I wanted a kitten knowing my husband was terribly allergic. He let me get it because he loves me and only because he loves me. My plan was to do everything possible to get rid of the cat allergen. I bought a Hepa Air purifier from Coscto (tall), give kitten a weekly bath, and purchased this product. My plan was to use this product about 2 times a week in addition to the kitten baths. I read several different products and reviews and this product seemed best for what I needed. The first 3 weeks of me having the kitten I kept the air purifier running 24/7 and I gave the kitten weekly baths. My husband would still have itchy burning eyes. Then finally my order of Allerpet for cats arrived. I use the Le Salon Essentials Triple Finger Massage Brush to brush on the Allerget pet. The instructions say to use a wash cloth to rub it on but that is just a complete waste of product. What works is pour Allerget pet in a small bowl and dip the brush in the liquid or just squirt the liquid on the brush. Brush Allerget pet all over the cat. I do it head to toe (excluding eyes, ears, nose and under the paws). I get my cat pretty much completely wet. Not dripping but the fur needs to be wet. It does dry pretty fast (I have a Snow Shoe Chocolate Siamese). Anyway, it worked perfectly and my husband has not had any allergy issues. I even stopped giving baths and just use this 2-3 days a week. PERFECT. Now I will still do baths maybe once every 3-4 weeks so that the cat continues to be used to being totally wet however I will only be doing it so the cat is comfy with baths not to help rid of the allergen issue. Even though I use this product a couple times a week and get my cat wet with it, I still have a pretty full bottle. I’m not saying this Allerpet works 100% as I am still running the Hepa Air purifier 24/7 but with giving my cat a bath once a week and not using Allerpet my husband had issues. Now I’m not bathing and only using Allerpet (with the air purifier) and my husband has had ZERO ALLERGY OUTBREAKS! This product worked for me and my family to the point that we are getting another kitten in 3 months because there are no allergy issues

It Works, But You Have to be Diligent
My husband is allergic to cats, yet because he loves me, he let me get one. I was determined to do everything possible to make the house livable even though we had a cat. We got a FURminator, we bathe the cat about once a week, and I even have 'allergen reducing' cat wipes. I also tried ADS Anti-Allergen Dust Spray 32 oz. on the carpet and that didn't seem to do a bit of good, unfortunately. However, this stuff DID help. Now, it's not a miracle worker - it's not going to magically cure you from cat allergies, but it *will* help. In order for it to be most effective we have to diligently put it on our cat 2-3 times a week (ideal is every other day or so). If it's only once a week, it doesn't seem to do the trick and my husband still sneezes and has a runny nose. Also, I think part of the reason this works so well is because we bathe the cat about once a week and THEN put this stuff on. It didn't seem to be as effective the first time we tried it when we put it on him before giving him a bath, but you are welcome to try that first. One thing that we have started doing as well, is instead of putting this stuff on the cat via a washcloth, we just put it straight on him and rub it in real good. It's supposed to help with dander but rubbing it on with a washcloth never seemed to penetrate the actual skin (where the dander is), so we put it in our hands and rub it directly onto our cat so it gets to his skin. That seems to have helped a lot more doing it that way. Then, we dry him down with a towel and feed him a can of wet food so he knows that after the 'torture' is done, he will be rewarded. That seems to have helped with his tolerating a bath and putting Allerpet on him, because he hardly struggles at all anymore. Yes, he will still give us this "Are you almost done yet?" look, but he puts up with it because he knows he has a treat waiting when we're done. Overall, I think this product is worth a shot if you are trying to reduce cat allergens in your home. Just keep in mind that it's not a quick fix (there is no such thing as a quick fix when it comes to reducing cat allergies!) and you will have to be diligent about frequently applying it if you want it to really work (and brush your cat too!)

Great product
This product is actually perfect. I put this on two of my cats and I brushed their fur thoroughly. It made there for us so soft and I was later. I was petting them and I didn’t get extremely itchy like I usually do. I love this product and so do my cats

Saves my Sinuses
This is the best product! I am always telling my friends about it when they talk about not being able to have a cat because of allergies. It doesn't completely get rid of symptoms but it reduces them by a lot. It's a liquid that you put on a cloth and rub on your cat, and it binds to the allergens and keeps most of them from getting in or on you. My cat doesn't like it at all, but she's old and can't run very fast, so she doesn't have much choice in the matter. I use it on her every week or two. She doesn't lick herself very much so she's not re-allergenizing herself as fast as younger cats do, probably. I can stick my face in her fur without feeling that tickling in the back of my head that I would normally, and my boyfriend no longer turns red and drippy when he's around her. Actually, I think the Allerpet acted kind of like allergy shots for him - by being consistently exposed to very low levels of allergens for a longer period of time, he's a lot less sensitive to cats in general and has less symptoms when he's around other people's cats too. One other piece of advice; get an allergen spray for your carpets/furniture/clothes/etc. The Allerpet doesn't get everything, so you can still get a little bit of build-up over time. With the Allerpet, allergen spray, a good vacuum, and a good air filter, you should be as close to perfect as it's possible to get.

Unsure if it works
USE CASE I have 2 cats. One tuxedo, one siamese mix. The tuxedo cat gives my girlfriend some of the worst allergies known to (wo)man. As a result I have invested in: 2 sets of bedsheets. Multiple air purifiers. Handheld fur eliminator vacuum. This Allerpet thing. So, it's a bit hard to know which is really helping the most. But each of them might help? IMPRESSIONS My tuxedo cat hates getting wet, but she seems to know if it's water or not. If she gets wet from water, it's ok, she just shakes it off. But if its something like this, flea medicine, or a dry shampoo, she will grumble with the grumbliest of meows. This in turn makes the siamese cat very suspicious. So, applying this stuff on them becomes one of the most frustrating things in the world. I did know this before I bought Allerpet but all these good reviews made me think, sure, I'll give it a try. I poured a bunch on a towel and tried to make it seem like I was petting them but that only worked for about 2 seconds. Then I had to chase them down and deal with some scratches after I furiously rubbed the towel all over them. Since my allergies are not so bad, I didn't really know if this worked. However, the gf came over, and surprisingly was ok for a day and overnight! Additional testing will have to be done though, to see if it's because of this, the air purifiers, or my diligent cleaning from the day before. Who knows -- this thing could work wonders, or nothing at all. You might have a similar experience.

Really works!
Really works! I am allergic to cats but I put this on my cats about once a month and I can pet and cuddle my cats without an allergy pill.

I'm writing this review mainly to help you cat allergy sufferers find a way to live peacefully with your cat allergies.
I'm writing this review mainly to help you cat allergy sufferers find a way to live peacefully with your kitty! I have a 6 year old son that really, really wanted a cat as a pet. He has asthma and is extremely allergic to cats, and most animals. It broke my heart that he could never have a pet, so we decided to take a chance. First off, we chose a "hypoallergenic cat", a Russian Siberian, but he was still allergic... Imagine that. Desperately, I searched high and low, reading everything I could to find a solution to our "dander" problem. Allerpet-C was the third product I purchased. When used every other day, or every three days, my son has absolutely no reaction at all! (Which is SO GREAT) But I also do several other things: I take the kitten for a bath every 3 weeks at the vet. In the off weeks, I use " Tropiclean Dander Reducing Waterless Grooming Foam Cat Shampoo", which smells amazing too. I try to brush the kitten every night, which removes access fur. I then give him a quick wipe with some generic dander wipes to wipe off access dander. I use the Allerpet-C every 2-3 nights. I give the kitten a treat after every "torture", which he doesn't seem to mind at all. IT DOESN'T STOP THERE! In addition to grooming the cat, I also keep my house clean. Mind you, I have a large 4 bedroom house, so it's a lot to clean and most of the downstairs is tile. Keep the allergic person's door closed, so that the cat cannot enter into it at any time. This provides a relief to the allergic person every night. I vacuum the carpet/rugs every time I use Allerpet-C, that helps me remember how often I should do it (every 2-3 days). I take the can of Lysol and spray the couches and furniture. Might as well go ahead and spray the fridge, toilets and door handles, right? Then I get the Febreeze air effects Allergen Reducer and go to town. I spray everything from the couch again, to the rugs, all up and down the stairs, everywhere the cat has been. Most of the time I spray the "Marshall Dander Free Remedy" at the same time I spray the Febreeze- one in each hand so I make SURE to kill whatever dander I can find. Don't forget to change the litter every 2-3 days too. I mop the tile floors weekly. Also close off the bathtubs/showers if you can, that dander sticks to the moisture and drives my little guy's allergies crazy. It's worse there for some reason. Yes, it's a lot of work, but cat allergies are very difficult to deal with. It's worth it to have a little kitty running around the house and to hear my son tell me "it's so nice to have a kitty, I love him". Good luck!
