We got an anonymous note from a neighbor about our two dogs barking all the time. Of course that was not totally truthful (they don't bark when we are are home which is a lot!) That aside, we don't want to be THOSE neighbors. I did a ton of research and starterd with one for our smaller dog (18 lbs). And it worked! So sensitive though that our other dog (40 lbs) would bark and set his beeping which seemed unfair so we got the same one for her. Works like a charm, barely a week and the crazy barking behavior GONE! They will protect the house, if someone walks up the driveway they don't know, they will bark in the house until we say friend. Not interested in training that out of them. Seriously, if your dogs take barking beyond annoying, this is the solution! And I don't feel guilty because it doesn't actually shock!

I only just got this collar today, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do, but the instructions are a little lacking. The box comes with two plastic electrode covers. I've gathered from reading other reviews and answered questions that these are supposed to screw on to the silver prongs, but I let my dog wear the collar for some time before realizing my mistake. Someone else posted a picture of a puncture wound that they claimed their dog received from the collar, and I completely understand how that could have happened without the plastic covers in place. I'm adding this review primarily in hopes that the company will see this note and consider revising their instructions in the future.EDIT to add: I did just find an email with additional instructions, but I might have missed it if I hadn't gone looking for it, and it still doesn't give much information on putting on the prongs.

I read the reviews and I am always skeptical, wondering if it's too good to be true, or if the people writing the reviews were given free products. But I was fed up and couldn't handle another day of my dogs barking. So I bought 2 and it worked so fast! 2.5 days of them wearing it and they either don't bark at all or only bark once or twice then stop. It seriously fells like a miracle. I am going to gravyard shift and was afraid I would never sleep again because of my dogs. I've already recommended this to others and posted a link to facebook! Only negative is I didn't know there was an updated owners manual in my email when I put them on the dogs.***UpdateAfter about a week of use they started barking more. Now they bark as usual, the beeping doesn't seem to bother them anylonger.

Bought this for my dachshund. He goes into barking fits and has started barking at everything! We have had the collar for about a week. .... and there is serious improvement. The beeping alone distracts him. He hasn't been barking more than twice. I watched him bark and it beep at him. He stopped.... unfortunately the dog thinks the sound may be coming from his rear because he sniffed himself. But who cares! It's stopped! I'm glad we don't have to shock him. The collar has gone off a couple times when we were playing and he was growling a lot and it happened another time when he dropped his bone on the ground loudly. Other than that no problems. We have it at level 4*UPDATE* unfortunately we have been having problems with this. Although this product did help our dog stop barking....it also continues to vibrate and beep continuously. We received a video how the collar worked and did our best to make sure it was tight enough around his neck not to slide around....but it just isn't working for our smooth haired dachshund. When he is outside and running or jumping the air does go through and give false alarms. He was really sad one day and I didn't know what was going on (he was in the garage) - only to find the collar continuously vibrating and beeping on him. It is difficult for me to trust leaving this on him if I leave the house because I am afraid that it will correct him when he does not need correcting. I think if my dogs fur was not smooth (its actually really silky) maybe it would grab enough and stay still where it needs too.I am also disappointed that the product is for sale $22 vs the $39 I paid for. I was looking to see if the smaller version may work better for my dog....but now I feel like i've paid twice as much as I could have. Always a disappointing feeling....*UPDATE UPDATE* ----- SO after my last review I was still fretting on how to make this product still work for us. And I realized all I need to do was make it less sensitive to my dog because it would not stay on his neck right. So - all I did was tore a piece of frog tape (painters tape) and taped over the little sensor hole (The one that senses air coming in) and turned the sensitivity ALL the way up. I have not had any problems with the collar going off randomly and it DOES go off when he barks. :)

Seems to have worked, we gave it as a present to our next-door neighbours who used it on both their middle sized dogs, and since then no more barking at night

El producto cumple con lo que esperaba fuera. No se lo tengo que dejar muchas horas y está aprendiendo a no ladrar cuando tocan a la puerta o escucha voces detrás de la misma. No lo he usado en la calle cuando lo paseo . Es más importante los ladridos en casa por el tema de los vecinos y estamos lográndolo con el collar. No le hace daño físico , solo la sorpresa de los pitidos y la vibración que lo alertan de :" si ladro , me asusta"

J'ai commandé, et reçu l'article très rapidement.. Le collier est fidèle à l'image.. Facile à mettre en oeuvre. Livré avec 2 piles, 2x2 têtes pour vicer sur les embouts métalliques et une notice très simple. J'ai fait le test avec ma chienne, et au premier aboiement, le collier a bipé,ce qui l'a surprise et lui a fait cesser d'aboyer. Cela fait 2 jours qu'elle l'a autour du coup sans avoir reçu de décharges électrique. Pour le moment les 7 niveaux d'avertissement avant le petit choc, sont suffisant. D'abord bip, puis bip plus fort, puis bip vibration, puis plus fort et ainsi de suite.. Je suis très heureuse, car j'ai enfin la paix. La chienne aboie quand-même, mais le minimum (1à4max) puis elle se calme.. C'est génial pour le calme et surtout pour le respect de l'animal, car sans douleur, sauf si le chien insiste. Mais ce que je trouve remarquable, c'est que le fabricant a tenu compte de l'intelligence de l'animal, et ça ça vaut une très bonne critique. Merci d'aimer les animaux que nous aimons.

Sin duda tuvo efecto desde el primer momento, el perro dejó de ladrar al primer pitido, tiene dos pegas: el primero es que no tiene botón de apagado por lo que hay que quitarle la pila cuando no se usa y el segundo es que las pilas (al menos las que vienen incluidas) no duran nada, en una de esas que se la pusimos al perro, al volver a casa el pobre animal estaba ladrando como un loco ya que al acabarse las pilas el producto emite un pitido intermitente y eso le molestaba y confundía.Por todo lo demás el producto es efectivo y está genial.

Ho acquistato questo collare perché il mio cane abbaia ogni volta che suona o si avvicina qualcuna alla porta, posso dire che cominciava a funzionare, visto che abbaiava la prima volta dopodiché faceva dei rantolii bassissimi per evitare che il collare suonasse e vibrasse, peccato che dopo 20 giorni non ha piu funzionato la vibrazione (per quello ho dato 3 stelle) e quindi l'ho restituito e sono stato rimborsato.
