Wrong size
Wrong dimensions. It’s not 101 1/2” x 25” it’s only 10 x 25. Not worth the price.

LOVE THIS
My horse loves this scratcher, previously he's been using his shelter to rub off his tail in order for him to scratch his butt... this is a LIFE SAVER, it was super easy to install and now he can scratch his butt without ripping out his tail. Hopefully we'll see some regrowth after a few months thanks to this product!

Too expensive
My horses like it, but its only a small piece of plastic and it was costly

Just put it where they already scratch!
My 1500 lb horse scratched his butt on the window of the feed room, and broke the glass! (That window has been there for 25 years with various horses, and none felt the need to break it, until now!) It cut his butt horribly, requiring 20 stitches. So, I had the window replaced with a hurricane impact window, put a handicapped handrail across it to make it less attractive to scratch on, and installed the "Equine Scratcher" on the wall beside the window. It works! He leaves the window alone, and from the sand and hair on the scratcher, he must love it! I used two, side by side. Good solution.

Too small for a horse
It’s too small and doesn’t bend well enough to install on a post like shown on the pictures. Also beware the seller does not cover return shipping cost, which was more than the purchase price. So it went to the garbage.

Not at all worth the amount they charge
Cheap, small and not at all worth the money. My husband found something similar, not an "equine" item, that works as well and a lot less!

Pour un équidé ayant une dermite ça limite bien les dégâts. Facile à poser et semble robuste. Différentes tailles seraient les bienvenues.

This wasn't quite what i expected, maybe my fault for not reading the product description or lack of it but as no other reviews thought i would add mine. I saw this product and thought it would be great for my cob who is forever scratching, his favorite place being the support wire of a telegraph pole which he has snaped once already. He has been treated for mites, lice etc but still seams to just generally enjoy a good scratch so to prevent further damage to the wire and to him i though this would be a solution to let him scratch safely. First of all i was expecting this to be larger, at least bum height of a 15.2hh horse, instead it is about 30cm by 60cm (approx measurements from my head, havent mesured it exactly) and the idea is you buy several and join up to make a good size scratching area. Initially we have set this at bum height so the horses can use if required but the only use of it i have seen so far is my other horse making music by rubbing his lips down it so we may need to reposition it somewhere else. I dont think it is worth the money as for it to be of any real use i think you would need at least 6 (£120) which i wont be buying.
