Gold Medal Pets Breath Spray for Dogs and Cats, 4 oz.

I bought this breath spray for my cat, as the heading on Amazon said that this spray is for dogs and cats. However, when I received the bottle and read the instructions, cats were not mentioned on the bottle anywhere whatsoever. As far as the instructions on the bottle go, this breath spray is only for dogs. I didn't want to risk using it on my cat anyway because I wasn't sure if any of the ingredients could potentially be harmful for him. I ended up going to Walmart and buying a cheaper breath spray that was made specifically for cats.I am very disappointed that Amazon advertises this product for dogs AND cats when the bottle and packaging instructions make no mention towards cats whatsoever. The instructions only mention how to use the product on a dog. Even the picture on the bottle is just of a dog and no other animal.

This product works well but it's hard to get my cat to sit still for it. The spray is pretty forceful and the spray top is stiff so it's very difficult to apply unless you have two people doing it. Once it's in my cat licks his lips like it tastes good and his breath is better but it's hard. I would recommend pouring some of the liquid into a spary bottle with a soft spray that is easy to depress, that will make the whole process much less stressful for both you and your cat.

My older cat Jetsum had a few issues with breath, which made him a lot less cuddly, so we brought this and spray it in his mouth once a day. It seems to be working slowly but surely. We didn't want to overwhelm him by spraying it more than once in his mouth and only once a day, but he is getting used to it and it works better every day.

My 12 year old boxer has really bad breath. I brought this after reading the reviews but it doesn't work at all for my dog.

My dad brushes his dogs teeth every evening but they needed something to address their bad breath - this worked great!
