Netgear is officially dead to me. TP-Link's OMADA SDN hardware provides the remote management access needed to keep a network operating without needing to be on-site. This switch, when coupled with the OMADA Network Controller and OMADA wireless access points provides the insights and control to remotely manage all aspects of the network - including client associations. Performance has been rock-solid. Firmware updates are flawless and regular - unlike Netgear which puts the fear of complete system meltdown into you when you do any firmware updates.Goodbye Netgear, you were great until you weren't. Hello TP-Link OMADA, you are what we have been asking for at price point that is still a value.

Got this installed for a nice and easy 4 Camera CCTV setup, with the aim of using some higher powered security lights as well, requring the extra wattage on certain ports.Used TP-Link Omada switches for a few years and find them a doddle to get integrated with out the box and no confguration needed. I have this installed in standalone mode and kept it as simple as possible, barely makes a noise. Yes there are cheaper switches out there with a similar feature set, but the integration with Omada down the line and ease of use makes this my choice.
