George and the Unbreakable Code (George's Secret Key) Review: For the young, science-curious reader - A fun and manageable story for young readers, 'd say roughly ages 7-15 or so, (ours is in 3rd grade, curious about the nature of the universe, and loves to read), but good for at least up through early teens as well This book is part of the "George" series, and according to my daughter, is the best so far. I enjoy reading cosmology books myself, and found the content in this book very approachable, and very inviting to the young reader who wonders about things, with small story illustrations, photos of planets, constellations, and other planetary objects, and sidebars where, in a couple pages, science concepts are explained (e.g., 3D printing, history of life, life in the universe, what is a computer...etc). Highly recommended for sparking curiosity and interest in science topics with a fun storyline. Review: Best George book yet! Keep 'em coming! - My 10-year-old says this is the best of the four George books. This book does a great job incorporating pictures and the details of the real science behind what George and Annie experience in their adventure. I was frustrated because the book was released in Great Britain in June, but never here. It has been available on Kindle since June as well. These books are very popular in the elementary school library here. I hope Ms. Hawking and her father continue the series. They really encourage a love of science.

Entertaining and interesting read for kids who are into space.
When my son was in third grade, his school librarian suggested the first of the Stephen and Lucy Hawking books for him and he devoured it. We were thrilled when this one was released. I ordered it in October so I was guaranteed a Christmas delivery. My son is a sixth grader this year, admires Hawking and Tyson, and is very interested in becoming an astrophysicist or aerospace engineer. He thoroughly enjoyed this book. Kids with an affinity for these topics will really like how these books are written. My son always has a new book going. Very rarely does he reread a book, but when he does, it's this series or a Rick Riordan book.

Share Grown-up Science with the Children
The series by Lucy Hawking and her father, Stephen Hawking teaches science that the entire family can understand. Beaks it down to a level that the kids can understand, along with Grandma and Grandpa. We both the entire set to share with our 10-12 year old granddaughtes.

Nice books for kids
It may kindle the love for science in kids like other books in this series. Honestly, I am a physics major college student and read this for fun in a weekend

Captivating
The combination of youthful adventure and friendships, sense of humor, flawless science and sideways glances at the way the world runs have captivated both my 7 year old grandsons and their grandma (formerly a physicist).

Great for science interested Middle Schoolers.
My grandson is in Middle School and loves all things science. He is a big fan of the Stephen Hawking "George" series reading each one many times and still enjoying them.

My son truly loves this series! It is a fantastic balance between facts (which is what he likes) and fiction (I like to broaden his reading horizon!).

Al niño le ha encantado, y a pesar de ser en inglés, se lo ha leído rapidísimo. Le gustaron tanto los 3 primeros de la serie en español, que los siguientes como sólo los encontramos en inglés los quiso igualmente. Le encantan!! Recomendables. Toda la colección

My 10 year old hasn't been as absorbed in any book like this since Harry Potter. She couldn't put it down. Brought it to school and now has a list of friends who have asked to borrow it. Bought it figuring she'd like it but had no idea just how much. Highly recommended.

Our Grandson is working his way through this whole set - can't keep up with him as he's reading them so fast. Time to order the next one in series I think. Grandson passed them onto my Husband with the recommendation to 'read this Poppa, it's amazing' !
