Simple Key, Key Fob and Key Fob Programmer Compatible with Nissan & Infiniti (Vehicle List C, 5 Button)

2015 Altima had only one aftermarket key working after losing original fob in another state and had locksmith program new fob. Got home and noted original spare did not work. Ordered this and it easily programmed all three fobs, and they all work great! It took me a few times as going back and forth with the onscreen instructions and booklet instructions gets a little confusing. Again, you do need at least one working key for this to work and it does NOT have to be an original OEM key.

The media could not be loaded.  Didn't work for my 2014 Nissan 370zFollowed the instructions and watched the company's youtube video which used a 370z but it didnt work. I recorded my attempt at it on video.My car's key pairing slot is functioning as it should. Car starts under the correct circumstances and doesn't start when it shouldn't.Have seen a few other videos of other people trying with their cars (none were a 370z) and it seems to work for them so it might still be a good tool but just not for my car or it could be i was given a bad unit. But I'll pretend it is because my 370z is super rare by comparison and they couldnt test on many of them. Sucks too because it has the QC Approval sticker that they threw on it.Thank God it didn't erase my original key like it said it would. Even though I'm greatful that it didn't do that, it also means it failed at almost everything it was supposed to do.Key fob given was alright definitely a cheaper piece but you get what you pay for. Buttons push in silently (no clicking) but there is a light to let you know that you pressed the button.Lastly they need to remove the last image for the product. The purple background image. It replaces the 370z with a 350z and probably mixed up something else I may have missed.

I called a Nissan dealership to see how much a new keyfob would be for my son's 2017 Nissan Altima, they wanted $225 for the keyfob and $160 to program it for a total just shy of $400. I then found this and thought "not much to lose here" The keyfob worked great, I just watched the "How to" video and the programming was pretty simple and took like 10 minutes. How the dealership can legitimize charging $160 for 10 minutes work is despicable

I had an extra fob for my Infiniti G35. I called around to several locksmiths to see if they could program it, and the few that even bothered to respond gave fairly high quotes and said that they would charge me even if they failed to pair the fob. This programmer was surprisingly easy to use. On my first attempt, one of the dash lights didn't respond the way it was supposed to for one of the three fobs and when I tested it afterward, that fob didn't work. I did the entire procedure again, this time flipping the fob 180 degrees in the pairing slot, making sure the dash lights responded exactly as expected, and then all of the fobs worked. Make sure that all of the dash lights respond exactly as stated in the directions. The nice thing is that you can try again until everything works. For less than the price of a locksmith, I now have 3 working fobs - the original, the one I wanted to get programmed and the extra one that comes with this programmer. This device exceeded my expectations.

Two sets of directions is the best feature. The owners manual and the on board screen. Really fast activation and pairing to car. Great product the price.

Ok, the quality of the key and the programming tool are both very good. No issues there. The tool is very intuitive and connects easily. The key itself has nice crisp buttons, about identical with original keys.But the instructions manual is garbage. It is our of date and doesn't match up. The parts that are not out of date are poorly written. They need to hire or contact a good technical writer.Here's an you need to do ... (This is for the 5 button Nissan Infiniti remote)1. Look at the chart in manual to match what code matches your vehicle.2. Press the top and bottom buttons until blue light comes on.3. Ever code by pressing top button for first digit, and second button (not bottom button) for second digit. So for code 52 press top button 5x then second button 2x.4. Press and hold button button 2 seconds. Instructions say it will blink code back to you, but mine just blinked once. So I tried again, and this time I just pressed bottom button and it blinked 3x. But sure which method worked, so I'd suggest doing both.5. Next part goes fast and is easier than instructions make it. Get in car. Shut doors.6. Put the tool on setting number (mine was 7 but this may vary depending on your model, so check your specific instructions.7. Connect the programming tool to the obd port under dash. May need to look up location or watch a video on your model. Easy to find.7. Follow the steps on the tool screen. You'll need to either press briefly to continue or press and hold to continue. So make sure you're paying attention to what it is asking you to do.8. It will erase existing keys, so have all of your keys ready. Program your existing key(s) first, then the new key(s) last.9. When asked to press key to START button, you'll use the key to press the ignition start button. Just press briefly or press and hold, depending on what screen says. You should see the red security key light on dash flash a few times. That tells you it worked for that key.10. Once done, you'll press start one last time with original key to edit programming mode, then press start to turn engine off.Test keys one at a time. Exit car and leave one key out of range. Get in with one key and test starting.If any keys don't work, start over and pay close attention to my step 9 above. You must see red security light blink as each key is paired.I added a leather cover to protect new key.Looks and works great.I'd give 5 stars if instructions were better.

This simple key …. Simply erased my only working key fob. I now have to tow my car down to the dealer so I can get a new reprogramed key. There should be a default that won’t allow you to erase a key fob. There is nothing simple regarding the instructions that read like old time stereo instructions in a different language. And the help line…. Is no help. They just keep transferring you back and forth. Do yourself a favor and call someone to come out and make you a second key.Do not purchase unless you like more headaches and throwing your money away. I would rate this a minus but you can’t.
