Prescription fungal creams are VERY expensive, and oral antifungal treatments come with serious side-effects and are also very expensive. This medication works well, but doesn't go as far as you might think. 3 tubes of lotion may last a month or two, but for the price, it's not bad. At the very least, this cream remedies the itching that occurs with ringworm and athlete's foot. Having to wear socks on your hands and feet during the night like a kid with chicken pox to avoid scratching to the point of bleeding gets old after a while. This stuff does not replace RX-only medications, but keeps fungal infections at bay in the mean time while you wait to see a doctor or save up money to pay for RX medication.

After first application I had a fairly intense burning sensation in the applied area that lasted all day. I tried another product which was 1% and didn't have this issue. Will probably use this in less sensitive areas.
