I cannot express how much I adore this daily kids' journal! It has become an integral part of our daily routine, and best part of all my kids don't fight me on doing it. The thoughtful design of the journal covers a wide spectrum of emotions, from joy to challenges, allowing my child to explore and understand their feelings in a healthy and constructive way. The gratitude section has been a game-changer, fostering a sense of appreciation and mindfulness. My daughter struggles finding the good at times and we can get in a rut of negative thinking and this gives her a purpose to find the positives in even the toughest days. The space dedicated to challenges and accomplishments is fantastic. It encourages my kids to set goals, overcome obstacles, and celebrate their victories – big or small. One of my favorite features is the drawing area. My daughter struggles with dysgraphia and writing is always a challenge. It's amazing how a simple sketch can sometimes convey emotions more effectively than words. It adds a creative touch to the journaling process and allows my kids to express themselves freely. The prompts are age-appropriate, and the journal strikes a perfect balance between structure and flexibility. The variety of topics ensures that my child engages with different aspects of their day, fostering self-reflection and emotional intelligence. In a world filled with screens and fast-paced activities, this journal provides a valuable opportunity for my child to unplug, reflect, and connect with their inner self. I highly recommend this daily kids' journal to any parent who wishes to instill mindfulness, gratitude, and self-reflection in their child's daily routine. It's a five-star investment in their emotional well-being and personal growth.

After all the hype of these books and the price... I'm not overly impressed. It's so repetitive my kids were uninspired to write in it every night to be honest.

I purchased this daily journal as I wanted a book that would help my nephew express himself better and thought I could support him with expressing it through a daily journal/writing- I think it is a great book for any child. I asked my sister for some thoughts on it (as she will be completely the book with my nephew) and she gave me the below: The introduction talks all about feelings and emotions in order to aid children understand emotions better and making them more aware. It also has a website where you can ‘test’ your happiness & confidence which is a great addition that I feel all children would like. It has a bee as a character (that is supposed to represent a person but uses a bee to be more child friendly.) It has clear instructions in the introduction of how the book is supposed to be used and how you can ‘write your own story.’ It also has top tips at the bottom of the page so each page is filled with different attributes- what I will say is that although it is structured, it is not structured in a way that for example a school book is, instead it’s very laid back and allows the child to really make it their own. Each day they are able to write how they feel as well as what went well that day and what they would like to try tomorrow. Furthermore, it also has a separate page where they can ‘doodle or draw’ with the bee having quotations on each page enforcing positivity. At the end of the week it has a weekly activity page, making a list of all the positive things that have happened that week and what you appreciate about yourself and others. The journal itself last for approx 10 weeks (if I’ve done my maths correctly) I feel that the majority of children would benefit from this! I would highly recommend as I feel it’s a brilliant book.
