It was a nice gift for a person who could use it where they lived.

The actual clock was excellent but sadly did not show UK time. I have given 5 stars for packaging and delivery.

I would have been upset if I'd paid full price and found it would not sync with UK time. However, I bought one of the ones that had been sent back to Amazon, and only paid £6.41. I discovered that I could slip a small flat ended jewelers screwdriver between the glass and the case and very gently pry out the glass. I then set the alarm to go off at 12 and popped a battery in and let the clock find midnight before taking the battery out. I gently pulled the hands off the clock. I put the alarm setting hand back on at 11 and the hour hand on at 11 and the minute hand on at 12 and put the battery in. I waited for the clock to set itself and was pleased to see it showing UK time. I tested the alarm which also went off at the correct time. Happy days, but .... unless you are patient, good with your hands and have a delicate touch then my advice is don't buy it for use in the UK. I hope this helps.

This is a good clock but unfortunately set on German time and hence NOT suitable for use in UK

This is a fairly boring European time clock which will keep good time in Europe but NOT in the UK. I bought it because I often work in Europe. It is silent, a barely audible click every 15 to 20 seconds but it definitely won't stop you sleeping. Great if you have property in Europe or visit often. Not a travel clock but light enough...keep the box for protection!They really should state its only European time on the listing as other reviews have said.

I liked the look of this clock but was put off when it doesn't work on our timings. It is set for Germany this should be stated. So I'm sending back and will look for a suitable one.

This clock would have been useful in 1960 when I was stationed in Germany for 3 years. As of now it's useless and is going back. Impossible to adjust to UK time. You should not be selling this in the UK.

Only shows the time in Germany! i.e. It's constantly one hour ahead of UK time, and it can't be set to show local time. However I have recently taken it apart, removed the front "glass" and relocated the hour hand so it now works! - Pretty simple to do if you are handy with a tiny Philips screwdriver!

Einrichtung easy, übernimmt das Signal und Du bist auf der richtigen Zeit.Total leise, gut ablesbar. Man kann nachts kurz Licht dazuschalten, obwohl auch die Zeiger leuchten. Das Licht ist bei Beiden ( Zeiger und anstellen) sehr angenehm gedämmt und lässt einen gut schlafen.Weckfunktion zuverlässig. Das Einstellen dr Zeit geht nur in eine Richtung, aber das macht man ja auch, wenn man wach ist. Also einfach ein genialer Wecker ohne zu viele Strahlungsstörungen.
