The only hair straightener I'll ever use. It is after all a HERstyler. The price is right. I wish it had a longer cord. That's how I broke my previous one. It fell off the table when I laid it down because the cord is too short. But the thing works like a charm and you can set the heat however high you want. I have ungodly thick hair so I have to set it on the highest heat setting, plus my hair is insanely curly

When I first opened the box, I saw a little note from the seller thanking me for my order, and asking for a review, so here it is.This flat iron/hair straightener works fairly well. I recently broke my Style House one which I loved so much!! That one was much more expensive and lasted about 5-6 years until I stupidly dropped it and broke one of the plates. This "COLORFUL SEASONS 8" doesn't work as well as my Style House one, but it definitely does the job!! To me, it's similar to a generic brand. Pretty much the same, but not quite.One thing that confused me was that the red light stayed on. I was assuming it was going to turn green- never did. Didn't see anything in the little intruction book that stated otherwise.It only pulled on one specific section of my hair- a weird section I've had issues with in the past- so totally understandable. The rest was very gentle. It smoothed most of my frizz down, without using any product. It also allowed me to make a bit of a wave near my ends, but not easily.I'm not gonna lie, I do prefer my Style House one, but as you can see from the pictures, it still works just fine! 5 stars for the price and the quality combined.

This will be the best investment you will ever own, so dont feel uneasy about how good it is, or if its real..its all that, its real! It heated up in no time, and I went to town on my hair.Pros: Comes in a cute satin bag, thats cushioned inside with fleece, and the Herstyler genuine box. Heats up super fast, flattens hair in one to two strokes, leaves my hair soft with no frizz. I have wavy long frizzy hair.Cons: pulls my hair, but I dont care, I'm just more careful, and it does'nt matter because my hair looks fab. The only advice I have is to be careful with the heat setting. It gets very hot, and I dont think putting the dial up to the full heat is a good idea (450) It can work just as good on a low setting. Or else you will fry your hair.Otherwise I love this tool, and its the best that I've ever had in my life. My hair has never ever looked so good. Its stick straight, shiny, and soft. I did my hair in no time..It usually takes 20 min to straighten my hair..Now it only takes about five minutes..And I dont look like my hair is dry, fried, and frizzy..I am so over looking like I tried to straighten my hair. Now my hair looks naturally straight. I'm totally in love..BTW, I bragged to my friend about my find, and she told me she bought the Herstyler curling iron at the mall from those annoying sales people for 200.00. She was shocked at how much I only spent..which was free compared to her price. Telling all of my co- workers, classmates, and family..I'm even planning on buying some for my sister-inlaws..

I used this iron for the first time in Ecuador and do not hesitate to buy it when you arrive in the USA. It doesn't damage the hair, I use it a lot to make waves. So it's great. I arrive in perfect condition ready to use

I love this straightener. My GHD went out on me and I didn't want to spend money on something super pricey, but this worked out great and was suggested by my coworker. It does have some weight to it compared to your expensive straighteners. And I also like to curl my hair with the straightener and it can tend to get caught in the plates so it kind of can rip at your hair, but I have super thick hair so not an issue for me personally.

Best cheap iron ever it still works years later

I bought a Herstyler at one of the booths at the mall years ago and the chord gave up on me after years. I was skeptical at first to buy it on Amazon, but I’m so glad I did. I love to curl and straighten my hair using this straighter. It gets hot really fast and gives me the shiniest finish.
