Yes, PoE works just fine with this!!!!
I used this for my 12 camera PoE system at my cabin/garage. Not a single issue after 3 years. It may not be "Recommended", but it is perfectly capable of powering 4K cameras and live streaming. Would buy again in a heart beat!!!!

We needed to run some cables from one end of the house to the other to hard wire some things. They needed to go up the wall, through the attic, and then back down. Signal speed is great and it was easy to use. It was cheaper to buy this large spool then a bunch of longer cords and we can cut just the length we need. Would buy again.
