Great product
Originally I purchased a similar pair for myself which I let my daughter try. This pair were her birthday present. She uses them on all sorts of terrain and loves the movement they give her.

Collapsible trekking poles
I used to climb and trek in mountains and cthe UK fells years ago but had to give it up due to spinal disc problems, giving all my year away. I've recently been diagnosed with a hip problem and decided to buy poles for when I need them. Saw these and have to admit I'm really pleased with them. Easy to set up and collapse and come with a handy bag and caps.

If you want folding walking poles these perform well
Very light with good accessories. Lack of instructions made first assembly difficult. Anti-shock claimed but non existent. Once mastered very easy to set up and fold down. Packs away small to be readily carried in a rucksack. To early to say how robust the product will remain as the tension relies on small sprung buttons but so far very good overall.

Both poles broke on first walk
Wow... Walking hadrians wall with my son and both poles broke on the first day. Had to use tape and willpower to hold them together. Ended up just being an additional 500g of dead weight that I had to carry for 4 days. Spend a bit more and go for branded equipment.

Find locking stud to secure poles
Thank goodness for customers photos. I was all for sending them back as I couldn’t seem to lock them. Then found customer photo which showed locking stud which is accessed by pulling up near to where the lock photo is and then securing it. Instructions need to be clearer. Looking good but they are a present so not used them. Hopefully they will be good.

Hold tight
So it took we a week to decide whether to keep it or not, as I couldn't work out how to enable them to stay in place and sturdy. This was because it didnt come with guidance instructions. Finally after asking other purchasers about the product, I got replies and kept trying it. The penny finally just, in time I was about to send them back when I worked it out. Today I'm going Hiking, so I can say, it was in the nick of time. Phew!!
