Needs Ice Cold Water
So…my son got this for his birthday and was excited that McQueen changed colors. However, nothing happened in cold water or warm water. Today at school he had it outside for a while and when the toy sat in the cool air, we noticed black places on him. So, I dropped it in my ice cold Yeti, and sure enough, he changed black! Warm water immediately changed him back to red (as well as warm hands)!

Color Changing....For a Month
The cars are awesome for the first month, but then they start to fade and certain parts of the car will remain one color. It causes patches in the paint.Would give 5 out of 5 if they solved that one issue.
