Q: Can this work in the pool or ocean?

The Skull Cap does not utilize our aqua designed material, so we cannot guarantee the sun protection in this product if it is wet.

Q: Seems? I need something that has no seems or very flat seems. I shave my head and too bulky material is uncomfortable under a helmet. Cool for summer?

In my experience the skull cap has been very cooling in the intense sun, literally a significant game changer from not using it. I cannot address the other questions other than I have found the cap to be a little large (although I ordered the largest size to ensure I could cover my ears), and I have not found the cap to be overly large in a way that is bothersome underneath a variety of cycling helmets and also under baseball style caps. Overall, I would highly recommend the product!
