slightly disappointed by the colour, the liquid should have been runnier but came out thick. Please send another one as I have a tie dye shirt! Thank you - Not sure if it was in the van for too long !

the product it great .. got the fabric color as expected ....

Wow. I had no idea it was so easy to dye furniture. Simply clean the fabric then mix 10 cap fulls into 6 cups of hot water and brush on. Fabric is still nice and soft. Totally brought these old grandma chairs back to life.

Love this product, I refreshed my ikea ektorp 3 seater sofa with 2 bottles 1 for Base cover and 1 for loose covers, came out great.dissolve your salt in hot water first and add as you start your wash.dx

Fabulous dye. I used one bottle for 4 bath towels and a sheet which were looking tired. They were all different colours originally so they came out different shades of grey obviously. I added lots of salt and put on the hottest machine wash possible. They are going strong very happy with it.

I purchased this to put the colour back into one in my daughter’s green hoodies from TopShop. It didn’t work.The instructions for the dye are indecipherable and seem to be made for US washing machines. I found a YouTube video that RIT had sponsored which was also fairly useless and just skipped key steps. If you have a stand-alone machine you may achieve better results. However, having a built-under washing machine makes it virtually impossible to pour in almost two litres of boiling water (4 cups water and salt/ four cups of water and dye) without scalding yourself or covering your cupboard doors/ worktop/ washing machine/ floor with dye (in my case fluorescent green). You need to get this water into the top feed tray before the washing machine finishes the flushing of the powder/ liquid. Also once you’re past 40 years old there’s no chance of you reading the instructions on the bottle which may as well have been printed on microfiche.Basically it has ruined my daughter’s hoodie top (which was a faded lime green to start with). The dye is patchy with dark green areas - a total mess and I subsequently had to purchase a new jogging top to replace it.However, please also note that RIT would like you to purchase a dye fixer (another £10). That’s £20 in total, making it fairly uneconomical considering a replacement hoodie is £35 delivered. And wait for it, some garments may need more than one bottle of dye... bargain!My advice would be to save your money and either tie dye when it’s at the end of its life or just buy new.

Quite easy to change the colour of my jogging bottoms. After watching many different videos on how to do it, all with slightly different techniques, this is how i did it.(See Attached images) This is the colour that i got when i used about half a bottle of Rit charcoal grey (use more for darker colour).First i filled my washing up sink with 10 litres of hot water (using boiled water and hot water from the tap) and then added a about half a bottle of Rit (4-5 FL OZ).i then added half a mug of salt because my jogging bottoms were 80% cotton and 20% polyester (this helps fix the colour with the hot water).Then i added the jogging bottoms to the sink and used a big spoon to help me mix it and keep it in and move it around the dye for about 40 minutes.I then emtpied the sink and washed most of the dye out with running cold water.I then stuck in in the washing mashine on cold wash for around 20 mins with the usual washing machine liquid.I then stuck it in the drying machine and it came out like this.
