Great function and value, not always an easy install though.
Overall I give this product a five for function. It is a good lock and well worth the cost. As far as it being easy to install that depends on the application I suppose. In my case I am using it for a shelf which has a hidden compartment that drops down. In this application lining up the latch with the holding mechanism is super tricky because the angle at which the compartment closes has to be accounted for and it’s not just a matter of simple math but rather a lot of trial and error and really small micro adjustments until you get it exactly right. When you finally get it right it works like a charm and is worth the effort. The other issues I had was that only 1 of the 4 cards that came with the pair of locks was able to be programmed. All of the key fobs worked though so it wasn’t an issue. The one recommendation I would give to the manufacturer would be to make the wire lead longer on the lock. It was too short to be of any use in my application. There was simply not enough wire to extend it anywhere that would have made it accessible once the shelf is locked. Had it been 6 inches longer I could have extended it to a place where it would have been accessible and concealed. Not a knock on the product just an idea to make it more usable for more applications. Like I said before I still have to give it five stars based on function and overall value.

4 stars- Programming Instructions Explanation Below
I really like the hidden nature of these locks. When we hosted our son’s friends from college over spring break we wanted to ensure the “good stuff” didn’t end up being chased with a white claw and needed to lock these swinging cabinets. We are overall happy with the final product except the left cabinet lock lags a bit. The locks won’t lock unless you wait until you hear the lock reset before closing the door again. As you can see from the video, the left one takes a little longer. Just enough to be annoying.DUAL MODEAlso the instructions were TERRIBLE. For those (like my husband) who are ready throw these things out the door because you cannot get more than 1 FOB/card to program at a time it’s likely because you thought the dual mode was for two locks to share the same cards. That’s not it. The dual mode allows one card (the manager) to open the lock by itself. For any other card, two cards (a service card and a guest card) must be swiped one after the other before it will open. Think of it like a bank vault. The owner of the bank can get in the vault by himself. (It’s his money.) Any other employee needs to be monitored. Usually you have the person who is “in charge” of accessing the money (the service card) BUT they need another person (doesn’t matter who) to be present for the vault to open (any guest card can be used) to ensure they are not stealing. Usually this mode is only used for commercial applications. If you set the lock in dual mode the first card you program will be the mgt card. The second, the service card. The third plus any other card will be set as a guest card.SINGLE MODEMost people will use single mode. For the single mode the first card will be the manager card (the 👑 master key). It can be used to give access to any other key. Once the manager card has been set, to add another card just swipe the manager card and then immediately any other card you want to program (you can do multiple cards in one go). Really simple.NO MIDDLE BAR IN CABINETWe don’t have a normal set up with a bar in the middle of the cabinets so we had to improvise a bit. The templates that can with the set didn’t fit out use case. So I just set the lock pin first, put a command strip on the lock, put the lock on the lock pin, shut the door, and used a key to unlock it. The command strip will give you a pretty good estimate of where you need to put the locking mechanism. Pretty quick setup that way. A good tip is to make sure the cords are facing the correct way. They do tend to get caught so you may want to tape them down while you install. As a note, we only needed to lock two of these cabinets but wanted the option for the others to appear to be locked. Given that we are dealing with teens and these can be cost prohibitive, we just bought these for the good stuff. For the other cabinets we just used the baby locks that use a maginet to open them. We will let the teens think that they are all locked with these nifty cards instead of the maginet on the fridge. 🤣
