The bags seem slightly smaller than the discontinued Glad bags and purchasing online was more costly than buying Glad bags in the store. What's happening? Why do we have to use zippered & self closing bags & thicker plastics, when we just need a simple bag with a twist tie? Who knew something so common & useful would just disappear from grocery shelves and everywhere else too. They have been hard to find the last few years. "Glad" will probably say they weren't a good seller but they couldn't sell when they were so hard to locate. I've checked numerous stores and bags with twist ties could not be found, not just Glad but no other brands either.

These are so thin that I cannot think of what to do with them. I am so disappointed. I don't like ziplock bags and could not find twist tie bags in the grocery store so I took a chance on these.It is impossible for them to contain a gallon of anything. Maybe a quart. But as soon as you slide the filled bags into your cupboard they might split.Throwing them out.

I was disappointed when my favourite brand stopped making freezer bags without a zip lock. Found these bags on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to try them. It’s true that they are easy to tear if what you are storing has sharp edges. However overall I’m extremely pleased with the bags. Sometimes a zip lock is just not practical for large items such as a half of cabbage, or a loaf of homemade bread. These bags works perfectly!

I bought these plastic bags because I no longer can find this type, without the zipper closure, in any of the local grocery stores. They seem to be of good quality and suit their purpose.

Arrived on time...I've ordered these before. They are just the right size for my purposes. 4 boxes last me a while. Sometimes I don't always want to waste a ziploc bag that can be reused , on something that you would definitely throw after. Ie. meat storage...Thank you!
