It looks good. I've received many compliments. It is a bit too dark (decorative rather than functional), but my main issue is; why have more than the 1 flickering mode? That's why they sell these, to mimick FLAMES. You can get orange bulbs anywhere. I only want ONE mode, I'm really tired of turning it on, then going outside all the way to my garage to check and see if they're flickering like they're supposed to.

Placed an order on May 21, 2022 for the 4 pack. The effect is really nice and it makes my room feel like something straight out of a Game of Thrones scene. I loved them!However, around early winter 2022, one of the bulbs was noticeably dimmer than the others. A little while later, that same bulb stopped working, even after trying it with different lamps. Then, one by one, each bulb took turns fading away before inevitably dying out, like my relationships.Now, 10 months later, the last one officially died. Do what you will what that information. But, I think others share a similar situation.

The media could not be loaded.  Ok, the pictures are misleading. It doesn't look like a flame. That being said, I'm going to be using this in videography. Wherever there are flames in world, but when they are also off-camera, these are going to be the light sources... the light they cast on your subject is pretty tight. If you plug them into lamps, so long as the bulbs aren't seen too directly, the light they cast on a wall is pretty good for ambiance. My son wants to put these in his room for when he has his girlfriend over (when he actually finds one, I had to add)... my wife wants them in the living room for when she watches her crime stories on TV.I like that there are different colors. I'm a Sci fi fan, and I want to start shooting Sci fi projects... I think these would help with alien ambiance, especially the green and purple ones. I'll be getting the whole set soon enough.I would have liked them to have an intensity setting, but they should be able to be relatively good when stacked to achieve background and foreground lighting with a little bit of experimentation.What would be nice is a UV bulb like this... maybe in the near future?

these could be brighter, but i will say after reading the waring to not put these outside unless they can be concealed from the weather (rain, snow, wet) i still stuck them outside uncovered and over the winter, they are still working great other then the brightness

Below is my original review, based on it the company reached out to me and offered a full refund. Because of that I raised my rating from a 3 to a 5. If the company has that much confidence a replacement will solve my issue, it must have been a one off.I bought a two pack of these and slapped one in my front sconce in December. First night it broke into the negatives it failed. Second one has done fine in the 20+ range so far. They are a little dim, good enough to get a key in the door, but offer no brightness beyond 5 feet. In all fairness though they are green.

Obviously that it won't look like the photo, but it looks exactly as other LEDs I've seen. It makes that nice warm flickering and it kinda does resemble a flame when looking at it directly. People who say that it doesn't flicker, it's because they have it set on the non-flicker mode. Hopefully it lasts for a long time!

These were a bit too big to fit in the outdoor lighting fixtures I have (I have the smallest ones I've ever seen) but I plan on making room as they are so fun. The flame mode created a soft mellow effect. To be clear: the lights work great and I'll use them somewhere else. They are just larger that a standard 60w incandescent bulb. Closer to a 13w cpf. {100w equivalent}.

These bulbs produce a fairly realistic flame result when placed behind a semi-transparent material or frosted glass. Viewing directly lessens the illusion. Works by using a panel of leds instead of just one. The leds illuminate in a pattern to form a flickering flame, a steady light, or a dimming and brightening referred to as "breathing ". The breathing mode seems to be timed to "zen breathing".

Appears to be a good product. We bought four of these to use in outside wall lamps. Installed easily in regular lamp style sockets. Not really bright but we like the "flame" effect light. You can apparently change some of the effect by rapidly switching the power to the fixture off and on but we havent worked with that specifically so we cant offer any comments in support of or against that.

not happy with the overall out come the display shows a very clear detailed flame the bulbs are in my opinion not very realistic

It takes time for the flame imitation to appear but it worked after all
