I've been doing tile for 28 years and have been certified and sworn by the orange brand since it came to the US. What's in these kits costs me $900 (my cost). The drain kit is superior and other components are just as good. I was able to install 3 showers in 5 days. The only downfall is there are no instructions provided if you dont know what you are doing. If this price stays down I'm sold.

I agree with some reviewers that point to material weakness in curb. Don't step on it after installation (when tiling walls) - it'll compress and loose proper shape (and I'm not a heavy person).And I bought 2 of these kits and in one of them drainage device was a wrong size and I had to use something else instead (it was too late to return).

Drain assembly that came with the kit is worthless. If you wish to use this system to save money, purchase the Kerdi drain system to use with it. The drain included with this kit is worthless. Stainless Drain fitting does not fit into the collar. This screw up caused a delay in my project, hence the 3 star rating.

Liked it. Easy and not expansive.

I installed this per Schluter instruction, thanks to other reviewers. The ripples showed up the next day, now I have to remove it all and do over. The material is too thin. Also, where the tape held the roll together, pulling off the tape removed the fabric fibers.

I had some of the material seperate but it seemed to be only a small section that doesn't affect the waterproofing. I will be adding an additional layer of waterproofing (redguard) just to be safe.5/10 rating because it had that quality issue the rest of the product was fine and they give you enough for mistakes.
