Royal Norfolk Black-striped Stoneware (Dinner Plates (Set of 4))

This "stoneware" is very different from the other Royal Norfolk Black-striped stoneware bowls I purchased with this order. In fact I already had two of the actual stoneware plates I had purchased some place else and they are not the same quality. I expected them to be the same as the other two plates I purchased, but what I received is actually more akin to poorly-made porcelain with several imperfections in the glaze paint where the black stripe is faded somewhat. (I am no expert in dinnerware so I may be using incorrect terminology.) As well, there is no maker's mark on the plates; there was simply a plastic sticker affixed bearing the seal of Royal Norfolk. I'm fine with this and plan to keep them since I bought them for casual everyday use, but they were not what I was expecting. (I have added photos below for comparison. The plate on the left was purchased elsewhere; the plate on the right was purchased through Amazon.)

Plates are hand-painted so expect some errors (thicker paint in some areas, thinner paint in others). I am a perfectionist so this bothered me, but I don't think if would bother most people. Also, these plates are more of a beige than white.
