I don’t even clean them, a disposable filter for my truck costs more than these so I just throw them away!!!

I paid for what I got for my little patience. I bought a used one and when it came in a day early. It was unexpected to see the filter a little messed up or frayed. Still useable and I was planning on having the brand face down anyway to pass for a K&N ;P All n all, I’m about to install it on a MGM and couldn’t be more excited

I've used Spectre Performance filters for over a decade on all my vehicles that they will fit in, usually cold air type intakes, and I have never had a problem with them in my vehicles. We live in Phoenix, AZ, and have bad dust storms certain times of the year, and these filters hold up, you can buy cleaning and oiling products for them at most car parts stores, and they also usually come in different color options. These filters are comparable to K&N filters, in that they are made from a cotton type material. My vehicles are not race cars, they are daily drivers, and I trust these filters for my vehicles. I would recommend these all day. Price is right on them too.

Wow, what a nice filter. Its a little hard to get the rubber sizing rings out but keep at it and they will come. The pre filter seems too small but it is actually a perfect fit. Stay with it.

Don't spend your money on an overpriced name brand filter when you can have one of these. I replaced the stock air box of my 98 Crown Victoria (4.6L V8) with one of these. This thing is huge, very nice looking, and high quality. I thought torque would go down but it actually went up just a little along with the hp. Nothing exciting but just enough to notice, along with a very nice growl (huge difference there). I'm sure it will contribute VERY nicely to a new intake manifold (which I plan to install later down the road) and a computer tune. I was advised by other Crown Vic enthusiasts to disconnect the battery upon installation and then reconnect before starting the engine to let the computer "relearn" running with the new filter but I didn't do that. Perhaps I could get more hp/tq had I done that, but I can always do that later. Anyway, I'm very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative for a CAI setup!

The quality of the filter is very comparable to other well known filters on the market but at a better price. I would recommend this and would buy again.
