Music Maker 2022 Premium

Too damn complicated

I purchased a new laptop with specs according to Magix before purchasing the program. Then, I questioned on Amazon if Magix Music Maker Premium 2022 would run on Windows 11. The answer was simply "yes." Apparently, it DOES NOT RUN ON WINDOWS 11! Well, there's no tech support. I called and called the number for Magix and you either get a recording outside business hours and during office hours the phone just rings and rings. Using the Magix forum, I found out that my audio driver in this new computer won't work with MMMP2022, and it sounds like the program won't run on Windows 11. A Major Disappointment is an under statement.

The program did not come with a product key! Every time I try to run the program, it states that I do not have a legit product key.

This Product was a product key that had nothing to do with the actual product itself!

Software didn't work

Don't buy this! 2018 was the last release that actually worked with no flaws. I been in 20 years recording business.

Hab mir den Musikmaker zum Spaß und Geburtstag gegönnt. Gute Software nur ein Soundpool wurde mir bei Registrierung in der Aktionswoche nicht gewährt obwohl ein Soundpoolpaket zusätzlich in der Aktionswoche von Magix bei Kauf des Musikmakers während dieser Zeit damit Beworben wurde. Also falsches Werbeversprechen. Ansonsten gute Software.

Edit: I’ve sent it back. Still far too many problems and glitches that I can’t overcome, it’s complex and when you need technical support that’s also hard to access! I purchased an add on to help me and that also couldn’t be used due to glitches and when I did speak to support they cancelled the add on and initially ignored my request for a refund until I reminded them that paying for something that hasn’t been working up to now and you cannot try and make it work any more because of returning the software in this day and age where the cost of living day to day is extortionate without companies doing this to people. They then issued the refund for the add on but it shouldn’t have taken that reminder when I’d already explained that the software wasn’t working at all and wouldn’t recognise the add on therefore it was rendered unusable.I bought this as it was supposed to be easy to use! Not the case! I’ve had it almost a month and still not been able to actually use it due to all the problems I’ve had! I’m considering sending it back while I still can!

Für den Einstieg gewiss nicht verkehrt, weil übersichtlich und leicht zu bedienen, mit einer attraktiv-bunten Oberfläche. In teureren Version mit reichlich Inhalt der zum Experimentieren einlädt.Aber all das wird von einer strukturell schwachen Software getragen. So kann erst garkein Workflow enstehen! Ständig gibt es irgendweche Probleme und Scherereien!Zudem: der Kundenservice von Magix ist unbrauchbar, weil faktisch nicht vorhanden.Recherchiert man etwas tiefer fällt auf, das es fast keine Infovideos, Lerngänge oder Tutorials gibt, geschweige denn Empfehlungen namenswerter Vertreter. RTL hat eine Empfehlung ausgesprochen...Sagt alles, oder?!Fazit:Ich bin froh "nur" 70 € für die Premium Edition ausgegeben zu haben. So bin ich zuallererst auf die niederste Qualität an DAW gestoßen und habe von hier aus das Differenzieren gelernt. Mit dem Magix Music Maker als Sprungbrett werde ich den nächsten Griff zu Ableton live 11 tun und freudig Abschied nehmen.

Das Premium bedeute da nichts. Die Software stürzt regelmäßig ab und es stehen keine Virtuellen Instrumente zur Verfügung.
