Good set of spanners for mechanical use

Did everything I needed as couldn't get the socket into the tight gap. Can't comment on durability as only for very occasional use if they ever see the light of day again. But still much cheaper to DIY than paying garage prices.

I bought this for my 2005 Mercedes CLS and has already been of great value. Mercedes decided to use inverted torx bolts for almost everything, so this set is essential in combination with e-torx sockets. Great quality!

If you too have an E46 BMW, I'll save you the trouble of checking. E14 is the correct wrench for the two starter bolts. Some Chinese-made tools are better than others. These are some of the good ones. In fact, they resemble Taiwanese-made tools which I consider high praise. The high polish finish is well done, the steel is strong enough for high torque, the star pattern fit well onto my bolt heads, and the wrenches have slimness to get into tight spaces. After all, if space wasn't tight, wouldn't you be using a socket instead? The only caution I would provide has nothing to do with any deficiencies of the tool itself. Rather, if you have money to burn, get the $$$$ ratcheting wrenches instead. The starter bolts on my car were exceptionally tedious to both loosen and tighten because resetting the wrench dozens of times was necessary. My knuckles paid the price. I should only have to do the starter once, but if I had a single other use case for these wrenches, I would have gone with ratcheting instead.
