I bought this primarily as a way to deal with hot flashes and it actually helps much to my surprise. It is a constant presence around my neck and at the touch of a button I can help relieve the horrible heat that arises from hot flashes. I charge it every other night and so far I have not had the battery drain, however I do not run it constantly, just when the need arises. My daughter purchased one and uses it when she takes her morning walk, it has helped keep her cool in the Florida temperature. It only circulates the air you are in, so if you are in an a/c environment it is much different than being outside as the air it blows is hot - however it is helpful none the less.

I fell in love with the neck fan, the moment I turned it on for the first time. What a genius idea! I use it when I’m doing the dishes or cooking, and tend to get warm. My workplace does not have AC, so this will come in very handy on hot days. It would also be great for an outdoor event on a warm day.Noise level is not excessive for the speed it’s on. The top speed is obviously going to be louder. It could be difficult to hear certain sounds over the higher speed settings, but that’s easy enough to adjust. If you’re working, or need to focus, the white noise the fan provides is actually perfect for blocking out background noise.Doesn’t feel heavy on your neck at all. Not uncomfortable. Bends and twists every which way, so you can position it perfectly for what you want. It has many levels of speed.I also love that it has a rechargeable battery. I’d much rather worry about charging it, than buying pack after pack of batteries and changing them all the time. Lasts for a few hours per charge.It is very rare I come back and write a review, but this neck fan is life changing for someone who sweats a lot, or tends to be warm blooded. Within 2-3 days of getting it, I bought 3 more for gifts.

Perfect for hot humid days both at home, at the amusement park, and on the job (if you have an employer that'll let you wear one). It's like having your own personal air conditioner.It's a comfortable wearable weight, and not so light that it feels like it could fall off. The fan speeds and the airflow is simply refreshing. Mine, however, won't always turn on at the first press of the button. Sometimes it takes a few presses and sometimes it takes a long press. It's a bit disconcerting and makes me wonder if I didn't already receive a defective one. I hope not. One thing is sure, it DOES NOT turn on while it is charging. Maybe it's not supposed to? Also, while it is charging, it whines. Sometimes jiggling the plug will make it stop whining and sometimes it doesn't.The manual speaks of a lithium-ion battery with the possibility of leakage or explosion. Could they have not used a safer battery source, especially for something that's to be worn around the neck? It does make me a bit nervous. And because the device does not come with a memory or the ability to stop charging when it is fully charged, the manual advises that you watch it carefully, and when it is fully charged (all three lights solid) that you unplug it to avoid damage due to overcharging. Conversely, you're not supposed to let it run totally down until it's dead either.For the size of the box, this fan came in, they could have printed the "manual" on bigger paper, or at least bolded the print to make it readable.Again, due to the lithium-ion battery, they suggest storing the fan at 80% charge in a well-ventilated area at a moderate room temperature.

Luv this neck fan. So convenient and easy to use. I use it all the time. I also bought this fan for my daughters and they really like them. It’s nice and quiet as well. Luv the different speed levels.

Good for hot days at the ballfield

I have a few different fans because I live in Florida and overheat very easily. This one works just fine. But unlike the others, it sucks my hair into the fan. Not enough to be painful enough to be annoying. Decent value for the money. Good power. Multiple settings. If you are a guy and have short hair or a woman who has short hair, it shouldn't be a problem at all

I have ordered these in the past. I have 3 of them, they work so good my managers had me order 1 for each of them. The battery is easy to charge. It takes a C cable. Takes about 4 hours to fully charge. The fan has 3 speeds. Low, medium and high. I am a waitress and always hot at my job. On the medium setting I can get about 4 hours of use out of it. The fan is not loud at all. They work so good that I let 2 of my managers wear them while they were cooking in the kitchen. They begged me to order them 1 for each of them. For only $33 (including taxes) they are a fantastic choice. I can’t believe I didn’t know or survived without these before. When you are in the heat they make a world of difference. They are light around your neck, quite, and my hair don’t get stuck in the blades like other fans have.
