Durable Door Works Great!
I purchased this so my cats would have access to their food and litter boxes but at the same time keep the dogs from being able to get to the cat food. This door was just the right size, was extremely easy to install in our basement door and has worked perfectly. My large 15lbs cat had no trouble fitting through the door, figuring out how it works immediately. My dogs are all 30-50lbs so they can not fit through it to gobble cat food. The locking mechanism has been a huge help to keep the cats safely closed up and not have to worry about any escaping during home renovations with workers in and out of the house. The swinging door can be a bit loud at times at times but usually that's only when the cats each sit on either side of the door and make a game out of batting / smacking it back and forth with their paws. Overall the door has held up very well in the 5 plus years it's been installed. At times the locking mechanisms can be a bit hard to slide and lock down but I don't use them often. The clear plastic door has some scratching and is not quite as clear anymore which is to be expected but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another in the future if needed. It was a great price and solved my problem of the dogs getting into the cat food.

Sturdy and easy to install.
2nd time ordering this. Good sturdy door for grown cats. One on cat room and one on patio. Works great

Works, but glitchy
This is easy to install, but sometimes the lock gets somehow moved, or the door inexplicably hovers in the open position.

Working perfectly
Love this cat door. We have it for our laundry room. I love the magnetic lock so the flap doesn’t swing. The flap does stay once it close and doesn’t move with gravity. Our cats love playing between it at 3 AM. So beware it maybe used as a cat toy by mistake. It’s easy to install and looks great

We installed this door on our cat house. I found it very simple to install. It comes with a template to make the cutout the right size. It’s been worth what we paid for it and our cats had no trouble figuring out how to use it.

The perfect is the enemy of the good
...but don't worry, this cat door isn't close to perfect ;) It's good, but just narrowly missed being "oof"Pros:* Inexpensive* Has an interior shroud/channel so it looks nice when used with hollow core doors* 4 way locksCons:* Hollow core door installation, while technically possible, is heckin dodgy (details below)* the locks are super flimsy - as noted in other reviews, a determined kitty will not be stopped! Think of these "locks" more as suggestions, not commandsHollow core door installation:1. The installation comes with a template for outlining the required cutout. However, the template instructions now that it might " be off by 3-5mm". Didn't sound like much, so I wasn't worried.2. However, the screw holes for the upper corner mounts are about 3-6mm away from the lines the template creates. Now I was worried: installing in a cheapo bulk-grade hollow core interior door, there wasn't going to be much for the mounting screws to now into, even under ideal conditions. But having them so close to the cutout is ...not great 😬3. Speaking of the screws: each half of the door has its own set of 4x oddly long wood screws, instead of bolts+nuts for connecting the 2 halves through the door. Unnecessary, but mostly moot in lieu of points 1 & 2Having said all that: I got it installed, and it seems like it should work. Will update if/when that changes 🤞Update (Jan 2024): still using this door in it's originally installed location 🙌 For all my concerns about the mounting, it's held up well - then again, my 3 little calico babies aren't going to put *too* much stress on it. Locks: as noted, they are pretty much useless - but as an even more fun wrinkle, my cats managed to lock one side or the other on their own on multiple occasions. So now the locks are taped over, rendering them inoperable by man or beast; so if the locking mechanism was drawing you to select this item: maybe keep looking..

It’s works great!
Make sure you cut the door the right size, if it’s too tight, the frame will have deformation, and the door will not open/close smoothly

Cats love it!
I like to sleep with my cats, but I have to sleep with my bedroom door closed because of reasons. This works perfectly for that. It was very easy to install with my crappy garage sale jigsaw and the included template was perfect. The size of it is also perfect as my largest cat is 15lbs, but it's not too big or heavy for my dainty 8lb cat to use. It took a week to teach them all how to do it, but you just have to be patient and keep pushing them through it a couple of times a day until they learn they can do it themselves. Whenever a cat would cry to be let in or out, I would just gently push them through the cat door. I would also push it open just a little bit to show them it opened and then let it fall on them (gently) to teach them how to push past the resistance to get to the other side. My most skittish baby took a week. Least skittish took 2 days to get it.
