Perfect to secure luggage on a train
Lightweight, but sturdy enough to discourage casual luggage theft on trains in Europe. The cable loop/eye at the ends is small enough to thread through luggage handle fittings. Get a small non-TSA lock to use with this (TSA locks are NOT secure)

OMOTOOL Safety Cable Lock 3mm Braided Stainless Steel Tether Lanyard 4 ft, (2-pack): Very well made. I use both with a padlock to secure my Yeti Roadie 24 cooler at the handle attachments. Will they prevent a determined thief? Of course not. But they'll hopefully discourage smash & grab attempts from my vehicle (during short stops when running errands) by casual opportunistic would-be thieves.
