A specialist camera that's a bargain
I bought this camera to test for a multi camera setup for streaming. This camera is a specialist camera that fits a very specific niche. If you fit in that niche this camera is amazing value at the price. The options for a power over ethernet camera that can produce h.265 streams is very limited. Picture quality is very good and setup was fairly easy given the complexity of h.265 streams. I was able to connect this to Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) via VLC sources and using NDI with VLC. This allows me to have camera feeds over the network to my streaming software and avoids multiple USB cameras and only have one cable running to the cameras for better installation. This is 100% worth a look if you have specific needs for this type of camera.

incredibly lacking in support and software
Mine was dead on arrival, but even if it had worked I would have returned it. The software is sort of accessible via the WEB but it is a complete joke. Documentation is horrible. The power adapter built into the cord takes an RJ45 cable, but it doesn't lock and falls out easily. I guess you could tape it together. All in all, a waste of time.

Good hardware, acceptable software
I've been running this security camera for two weeks now, and I have mixed feelings. If you're willing to put in the work and have the right network setup, it can be a decent budget option, but there are definitely some quirks. First, the network security concerns are real. This camera constantly tries to phone home to Chinese servers, mainly to activate the "CloudSee" site that AFAICT is not actually a fewature you can use. Under the hood this is a SUNYWO JVSWO708-PO300M2, which is actually made by Jovision, who does have a cloudee product. I strongly recommend isolating it on a separate VLAN with no internet access if you have the capability. I'm running UniFi gear, so I set up both VLAN isolation and blocked all outbound China connections. Without these protections, I wouldn't feel comfortable using this camera. The good news is that once isolated, it does work with UniFi Protect, though getting there took some trial and error. You'll need to use advanced adoption with the IP address followed by :6688 (the ONVIF port). Don't use the default admin account for ONVIF - create a new one or it may not connect. Also, I switched from H.265 to H.264 codec; otherwise, the connection drops constantly in Protect. RTSP works with admin account. What works: Video quality is decent for the price, and both main and substreams are detected properly. I can view the RTSP stream in VLC with both video and audio working fine. The camera has been stable for 24 hours with no crashes. What doesn't work: Audio refuses to work in UniFi Protect despite working in VLC. The timestamp constantly resets to 2015 even with NTP configured - I just turned off the timestamp overlay. AI detections don't work since Protect relies on camera-side processing. From what I can tell, the audio and timestamp are both issues with the camera's ONVIF feature. Some pleasant surprises: The power connector is actually a clever split design that accepts both PoE and DC power (this wasn't documented). The PoE connector has tiny status LEDs built in, which is handy. The manual optics work well with three adjustment screws for zoom and focus. THe hardware is stable and sturdy Bottom line: For $30-40, this is a great camera if you have the technical skills and proper network security. The ONVIF implementation is flaky, and you'll need patience to work around its quirks. I wouldn't recommend it for someone looking for plug-and-play or anyone without isolated network capabilities. But if you have proper security measures in place, it's a reasonable budget option for basic surveillance needs. Setup took me several hours due to poor documentation and trial-and-error troubleshooting. The manual is minimal, and the firmware hasn't been updated since 2021 (I checked, no new firmware as of 2025).

Rtsp works ok, but camera won’t send alarm email
I can view video via VLC, or an ip camera app on iphone, but the built in camera web software won’t send an email when motion is detected. Viedo quality is good, and I like the zoom/focus lens.

Sharp picture, sturdy build, close focus
Still testing this out, but I have to give the seller credit for responding to my question WITHIN HOURS. Key points: - solid build, all metal, including lens housing - lens has 2 adjustments: focal length (ie "zoom") and focus - power is barrel connector 2.1mm x 5.5mm (the most common 12v DC adapter size, center positive) NOTE: adapter is NOT INCLUDED, which is very clearly stated in the description (thank you seller for the heads up!) - Supports RTSP video streaming (which is what I needed) - TWO configurable streams (each can be set for codec h264/h265, CBR/VBR, quality, bitrate, FPS, resolution) This is impressive for such a small, inexpensive camera - Configurable network and security - Even supports PoE! - Small, in case you're looking for something fairly inconspicuous - I think(?) the lens is actually glass - Focusing: minimum focus distance is around 8-12 inches - which is pretty impressive. Minor nit: the documentation could be a little better re focus/zoom and streams (or show it in the settings web UI!) - but seller responded IMMEDIATELY to questions, so not taking off a star. Overall, just a great little camera for the price! PS Just to repeat the seller's info for streams: rtsp://IPAddress:8554/profile0 (Main Stream) rtsp://IPAddress:8554/profile1 (Second Stream) rtsp://username:password@IPAddress:8554/profile0 (if a password has been set) You can also change the port to the standard 554 in the camera settings if needed for compatibility with your DVR software

Not great.
As a $50 (telephoto) camera, you get a bit less than what you pay for. My need was to take a picture of my gate ~100' away from the house once per second through a window. Zoom was adequate, about a 10-degree field of view, but focus just wasn't great and mounting was poor quality given the relative size of the lens. I would have needed to 3D print a cradle/mount to make it passable. Not sure if it is configurable, but the snapshot was just 720x480 out of the box. Ultimately it ended up in the spare parts bin after a few hours.

Couldn't log in to set up
Followed the instructions to a tee but could not log in the camera to configure it at all. Wrote to the support , explaining that I'd tried using admin with no password as reccomened, but couldn't access the camera. Their response? "Login using admin with nothing in the password field." After wasting 6 hours with this , I returned the camera. I wish you good luck if you try the same. Don't expect any useful support.

C'è scritto Onvif, ma nell'nvr non si vede l'immagine... funziona solo con vlc.. Avete le configurazioni esatte per il protocollo onvif? Come si crea l'utente onvif?

The camera resolves in HD an area between 6cm and 11cm from the camera approximately, ideal for the purpose I was intending, elevation angle can be set, but pan is not a function of the supplied mount. A little complicated to set up over a WiFi Bridge and 4G WiFi Hub, as you need to use the CMS Software to configure the hardware for your network and intended bandwidth, the supplied manuals are a little vague on setup when streaming to third party software, so you have to set up the cameras for your compliance with your third party software using the CMS software. Took longer than I'd like of trial and error, but eventually configured a fixed IPs that I wanted to use (not the default option since I want to use four cameras for my project), this can only be done when accessing the cameras using Remote Configure. Note when setting up for 1080P, you might want to drop the streaming bandwidth down to 2000kbps, to lower CPU load, it remains at 3072kbps by default. Note: I'm powering the camera using 48vDC POE, this means the camera body feels live to the touch, my project is in an electrically insulated box, so no issues for me, but anyone mounting to a conductive surface may want to isolate the fixings using mica washers/no conducting screws/bolts. Also, there was dirt on the inside of the lens, requiring disassembly of the optics to carefully clean the inner surface, other than that, which was obviously introduced at manufacture, the camera does the job. 4 Stars due to the complicated setup and vague instructions, other than that, good budget indoor camera for the price.
