Not for 1/2" MC 12/2 Electronical Cable
Does fit into 1/2" junction box, DOES NOT FIT 1/2" MC 12/2 ELECTRICAL CABLE.

Too big
I bought this to connect between my shielded cable and square box for electrical use in my garage. The ads says it holds for 1/2" cable but it's way too big and I couldn't use it at all. I returned this item.
