I really liked this caller. The iHunt app that came Free with the speaker is massive with about 700 calls on it. The calls I checked out seemed to be very high quality too. Make sure to follow the directions and down load the free version of the app and then use the promo code to get the $5.99 version for free. The speaker seems good as well, small enough to stow away easily but loud enough to draw in game. I did not have any distortion at approximately 40 yards, and the calls were pretty clear. I am happy with this set up for what I paid for it.I occasionally hunt in Maine and sometimes Canada for Moose, and plan to get the iHunt Moose app and caller as well. Recommend!

Good quality & works as described. Not much different than a bluetooth waterproof speaker but possibly more durable & easier to transport for use. Range is at most 50 unobstructed feet.

I had problems with registering the speaker to the app to get all the calls but contact support and they got back to me. The issue was I turned on the speaker and connected it to my phone before registering it so it causes issues when you try to do it. Had to delete the app redownload it and do it again. It worked. Giving the product 5 stars now since it is working properly with all the calls and the sound is good. Those of you having issues with registering the speaker I suggest contacting support before just buying the calls on the app.

I tried all 3 apps and they continually disconnect from the speaker or just randomly shut down. If I tried to turn the volume up to a level it would be used it would disconnect. Sound quality was as expected for the price but degraded quickly as you increased the volume, never could listen to it all the way up because it would disconnect.

I like the app just fine, it is of good quality with a ton of different calls. As for the speaker, I can only get about 15-20 yards away before losing bluetooth connection. I don't know if it's the speaker that's dropping out or the phone's bluetooth range. The idea here is to get some distance between yourself and the speaker, but if 15 yards is all the separation I can get then this isn't worth having. Again, not sure if it's the speaker or the phone, but this doesn't perform in a way that fits my needs.

App won't accept the SN: from inside the battery compartment or any other number written on this thing and therefore can't unlock the full featured version which makes it pretty much worthless if it won't do what it advertises. Frankly I expected MUCH better out of Ruger! sorely disappointed Also can't get any customer service to fix the problem. I will amend this review if you reach out to me with a fix for this problem. Amazon has my email. if Ruger has a fix for this give them my email.

This little speaker puts out a lot of sound. The game calls are so much better than I had expected. I do not plan to use a lot of them but I really like the selection for predator and deer. i like that it is water resistant and it is small enough to fit in my coat pocket. I tested the range and it went about 75 yards before I started to lose the signal. Overall, well worth the money.

While browsing on Amazon, I came a cross iHunt XSB Electronic Game Call & Bluetooth Speaker Combo, EDIHXSB, FREE App with 750 Game Call. I decided to purchased it as a gift for my son in law, knowing he enjoys hunting. I didn't realize how really cool it was until I saw the expression on his face. Not only was he completely shocked that I thought of it (thank you Amazon for random suggestions) he was excited about the quality and all the features.Thumbs up!

The first time I used I went to the hunting ground which had a lot of deer footprints. Then I set up my blind and to playing deer sound and in just 5 min 1 buck and two doe came out from the bushes and I shot one. I recommend this device for hunting.

When using this device, you want to have the volume up so you can be heard at a distance however when this speaker reaches anywhere near top volume, the sound is really distorted.The sound also clips sometimes as though the connection between the phone and speaker is impaired though I'm not certain how that could be in the middle of the forest when the phone and speaker are nearly sided by side.Overall, I would not buy or recommend this product. I think I would have been better off calling myself (even though I've never done so before).

Call is easy to use. Will have to obviously download the app. But get ready to purchase additional calls not included with app. $13.99 Only ones included are ones that one would never use. The clarity is good but not very accurate and some of the calls have other ones built into them. ie: distress cottontail with coyote in background. I may return product to invest in one more professional. This would be better as a Halloween pranks vs for realist hunting calls.Good luck.
