Went through so many other drill bits before finding these

Great price for a Cobalt bit set, used these to extract a broken bolt on a motor block and also to drain out oil on old compressors so i could recycle them. Easily cuts through metal without struggling.Why buy one drill bit at Home Depot when you could have a whole useful set? 5 stars

Just what I wanted.

I've used this in up to 1/4" steel and they work great. Was worried about quality due to the low price. I'd like a set of these up to about 9/16"

Not what I read about these drill bits.I wont be buying them again for light work ok but hard to use on mettle steel cast iron. They look great but not what I expected.

I was attempting to drill out some pretty stubborn screws on a derby cover on my Harley. The previous owner proceeded to strip out all five of the screws. I tried all the tricks to get them out including a rubber band, an easy out, etc. with no success. The metal was just too soft. This is why I replace these types of fasteners with new stainless steel.I purchased these drill bits because I was a sheet metal mechanic in the Air Force and I know that cobalt drill bits are what you need for harder types of metals. The heads on the screws were soft but the shank was not. After loading up my first cobalt bit and applying heavy pressure and slow speed, the bit ate right through the center of each screw. I went up two more sizes and ream out the hole. One more size jump and the head of each fastener popped off onto the drill bit just as I expected.

Bought this set of bits to bore a 1/2” hole through a 1/4” thick steel square tube. Punched the spot to get started, applied a liberal amount of tool oil to the 1/32” and got about 0.001” deep when it snapped. I then proceeded to snap every bit up to 1/8” trying to start a pilot hole and gave up on these bits.

These will fit the needed work. Many assorted product. Great Price, great for any use.
