Love it!
This is a great backpack. I like the size. Not too big and not too small. The main pouch has plenty of room and fits my tablet and my Kindle in the back pockets. The back pocket in the main pouch has a Velcro strap that holds in my tablet but it tends to get in the way more than anything when I'm loading and unloading my tablet. I kind of wish it wasn't there. The smaller front pouch pocket is nice and deep and holds a lot of things. The hidden pocket in the back is nice for carrying cash. The zipper lock works great and is easy to change codes. I also like that it has a luggage strap that will fit over the handle of your roller bag. I don't use the headphone jack or the battery pack USB outlet but they seem very durable. I have overloaded this backpack many times and all these stitching and straps seem to hold up well. This backpack rocks especially at its price point. I would buy this again if something happened to it.

Great value for a solid feature set and a professional look
Although relatively compact and simple in appearance (a set of features important to me), this backpack has a lot to offer. I've traveled with it internationally and it has a great combination of pockets and slots. The "hidden" pocket in the back is great for a passport and boarding pass. The small one in the front is convenient for keys and small things you need quickly (or to hold a phone and wallet through the TSA scanner). The front section has the usual pen holders and small pockets with room at the bottom for a compact umbrella and a small bag of cables. And the main section makes for easy access for a laptop and has a second small pocket for a tablet, and is still big enough to hold headphones and a few other items (e.g. the food you had to buy to bring on the plane so you don't starve during the flight). The shoulder straps are nicely padded. I cannot comment on the water protection because I haven't gotten it wet or the longevity because I have not had it for long, but it does not feel flimsy. I also did not use the integrated lock. But very pleased with it so far.

Very close to a good backpack (And great customer service!
I purchased this backpack to replace my big, bulky laptop backpack for something lighter weight and plane-friendly. This backpack is well laid out, just the right size and has good storage options. I did take it on a week-long business trip. It's SO close to being great! For the price, the build quality was (generally) pretty good and I thought the pack was very useable. This is the first time that I had a bag with a luggage pass-through - Talk about a game changer! There are three things holding it back. The lock on top just adds weight and is nothing but a gimmick to give them one more bullet to add to their description. It isn't useful in any way. If someone is going to steal your stuff they will just take the entire bag. It just adds weight and makes the pack look ugly. The external USB charging seems like another gimmick. Maybe it's just me, but I can't see ever using it. It's just more weight and an extra few feet of wires dangling around free in the backpack to get in the way. This feels like another "let's add a feature to our description".Finally, the zippers is what pushed it over the edge. While I was using it on the trip, one of the zippers broke (one pull stuck at the end) halfway through. I could still use the other pull to open it, but I'm not going to keep a bag with only one working zipper pull.If they made a version of this with better zippers and got rid of the USB Charging and lock I'd be all over it. Sadly, this one is going back.Edit: The vendor's customer service is very good. They noticed my review and were concerned about my rapidly-broken zipper. They sent me another backpack, free of charge. I have used it for 4-5 weeklong trips and it has performed very well. It has all of the great features I mentioned above (I still especially like the luggage passthrough!) and a non-defective zipper. I'm still not a fan of the crappy lock (which I immediately removed) and the waste-of-a-USB-cable. That is all that is preventing me from giving it a full 5 stars. But, if you need a straightforward, lightweight, functional and inexpensive travel backpack this is great value for the price.

I looked at 50+ bags & ordered many. Finally found this winner. Save your time & give it a try.
First, the bag just looks really nice. But it’s not just looks, it’s also got quality material & construction, and a great texture, along with tons of smartly designed function & features. It’s not that this bag has any truly unique features, everything included can be found individually in other bags, but this is the only one I found that contained so many useful functions altogether in one bag, in a layout that makes sense. Some bags feel like they are just throwing anything and everything into it, just to rack up features, even when some are fairly useless, and/or poorly executed. I like this one because everything has a point, and was clearly designed by the same people who’d actually use this bag on a daily basis. One of the best features is just how large or small it can become. There are multiple, (and importantly, sturdy) adjustable straps at different locations and angles that allow you to use this bag for all occasions. Fully loaded, this holds a ridiculous amount of stuff, yet, it can also be made to hold a single laptop extremely flat and very snug against you. I haven’t used all of the features, but I like they are there when I do have a use. The lock is one I haven’t used yet, but it looks as reasonably secure as it can be for the size and weight, and certainly provides a huge deterrent to pickpockets. Anyway, I looked through and read way too many reviews trying to find a bag. I ended up ordering 5 different ones, and this was by far the best out of that short list I decided to order. Don’t spend as much time as I did, just give this one a try.
