USA MADE, Wax Melter for Candle Making, Easy Turn Handle, Holds 10lbs of Melted Wax

Before getting this I was using the double boiler method with a pouring pitcher that could only hold 2lbs of wax. It took forever to get any real volume! With this melter, I'm able to quadruple my productivity in the same amount of time - it's insanely easy! You CAN put scents in and mix in the pot, but I wouldn't recommend because then you'd have to wash it between each one. Overall, super easy and convenient! No issues at all! Quick note: I love that the plug is connected by magnet so a slight push unplugs it. This makes me feel a lot safer using this in my home!

Very easy to put together and the packaging/instructions made it very known you were supporting a small business, which I love. I had purchased a melter to help me upgrade from my make shift kitchen bowls and double broiler for my beeswax candles. Beeswax candles need to be melted between 145 and 160 degrees. The dial for the heat goes from warm to 200 degrees and all the way up to 400 degrees. To optimally make my candles I left the setting on warm (which was about 145-150 degrees with my thermometer and worked perfect). I was concerned at first that my spout wasn’t working but it’s just because it’s a harder wax. I even emailed Alyssa asking about the spout issue and her customer service is unparalleled. Couldn’t recommend more!

I’ve never written a review in Amazon. I started a small candle business little over a year ago and had been using the double boiler method for my small-batch, vintage candle-making. Used this for first time yesterday and is a game-changer for me! Did a great deal of research before purchasing and this had the best reviews. It was simple to use, was consistent with temperature and streamlined my process significantly. Just in time as my sales are picking up greatly! This will also allow me to work toward candle making workshops this fall. The message on the packaging was such a treat as I opened the box excitedly! Highly recommend.

I'm really happy with this melter, and it's a pretty good size for the volume I do. I wish the cord was longer and that the handle was a long lever instead of this little butterfly shape, but it works well enough. It does drip a few drops after closing but I think anything will do that, I just keep a little plate under it.

This melter was packaged with care and was delivered fast. You’ll need to attach the handles and feet. It takes less than 5 minutes. I saw a few complaints about the temperature dial and burnt wax issues, but I had no trouble. I put about 2 pounds of soy wax in the melter and set the dial to warm. The wax melted down quickly and I continued to add wax until the melter was full. Then, I turned the temperature dial up slightly to get to the desired 185 temp. No issues with burnt wax. I wouldn’t “set it and forget it”, b/c I can see you might run into some trouble if you weren’t paying attention as the entire process was fairly quick compared to other melters I’ve used. The valve worked great. No drips or leaks. I’d recommend this product.

Picked this up for the wife to hopefully help her continue her new adventure. Originally she was using small containers, etc. This definitely helped with the melting process. We did notice the spout drips a little, but we can deal with that.

It felt like Christmas when this arrived. It is so beautiful, durable, and heats evenly. I'm not sure why I was asked to rate smell, but I guess it smells good too? lol If you're starting up a candle business, skip the smaller ones and go straight for this. TRUST ME. If you've been at the hustle for awhile like me, you'll thank yourself for buying this. It makes things sooo much easier!

This was the best purchase I've made so far for my biz. It pretty much ready to go out of the box, just have to attach the little feet. It has allowed me to speed up my production since I'm not making single batches at a time. It's easy to get the wax up to the temp I need and then turn the dial down to keep it at the correct temp. For the reviews saying it's just a presto pot with a tap...your exactly correct....and so what? I'm super happy to support another female owned small biz and kinda wish I had thought this up myself :) The tap mechanism is ingenious and it works perfectly. It does get a little warm to the touch when the pot is on heat, but once I turn it down to a warming state there's no issue for me with the tap being too hot. This is a quality product and has been the perfect addition to my candle making. Hopefully soon I'll be back to buy the larger size!

Perfect tool for melting large batches of wax. I like to make 15-20 candles at a time and this melter makes everything so quick and easy. The pour spout makes removing the wax so easy. You can add more wax at any time during the process and it barely slows you down. The only thing I had to do was make sure there’s a paper or something to catch the drips.
