When I first purchased this feather bed it appeared to be comfortable and somewhat thick. But after a few months, the areas that get the most use have become completely flat and is now the same thickness as a sheet. This is after fluffing it up too.The baffle box construction is supposed to keep the feathers contained in place, but the problem is, this leaves you with virtually flat areas in some places and the areas that receive less contact are 3 inches thick. At this point, the feather bed is extremely lumpy and uneven throughout the entire bed. I purchased a cover, so I haven't had any issues with feathers poking through, but overall the quality of this feather bed is very poor. Also, purchase a King size if you have a queen bed— this will prevent the feather bed from bunching up in the middle. It slightly hangs over the side, but there is still room for the fitted sheet.Unfortunately, I'll have to buy a better quality feather bed and toss this one. $150 down the drain. I hope this will help you make a better choice in choosing a feather bed.

Sending it back. Product was not what was expected. Very thin and cheap. Essentially it's a down blanket, the feathers clump under you and become very flat. Think of laying on a pile of towels and then having to get up to "fluff" every time you change sleeping position. I'm not sure if it is a "blue ridge home fashion" product or a similar product from a company called "concierge collection" . If this is the case there is about $100 price difference between the two. I did read some reviews before purchasing but I tend to just discredit the bad ones if there is enough good, looking back I agree with every single one. Don't waste your time.

Not tossing and turning anymore either.I can't really say enough good things about this.I'm very happy with the product, took a bit longer than it should have to arrive, but only a couple of days, no big deal ...it was worth the wait.I plan on purchasing each of my three daughters one of these.Like I said don't even think about it just buy it...

So I still have a week or so to return this product. I’m really trying to love it. We have been through several. We have a new memory foam mattress and I like soft. It’s not. So wanted to get some pillow like comfort. As other reviews stated it needs to be fluffed. Not every once in a while, daily as the moment you lay on it, it is flat. Not saying that doesn’t provide extra support but not the cloud I was hoping for. My husband has given up. So I folded the king size over and made a huge twin size for myself. Better, However the feathers again seem to gather at the top and bottom. Much more comfortable this way but thinking there must be a better option. So on the fence. For the money I feel like I want/deserve a cloud. Seeking comfort and super softness as promised. This isn’t it.

We've owned this feather bed in California King size for 2 1/2 years now, and I have to be honest, coming out to Amazon to buy a new one, at firstI looked around for other options. It does lose feathers--although almost exclusively from the back side, so I've never been poked while trying to sleep. It does bunch up, going flatter where we sleep and creating a mound in between us. I don't fluff it more than once a week, and I don't think it would be better if I did. But the bottom line is that it is super comfortable. I've been sleeping without it for a few weeks now just to see what the difference would be (I have a very nice memory foam mattress and a pillowtop mattress pad) and I definitely miss my feathers! Based on my experience with this pad, I wouldn't order a feather topper that was less than 5 inches, because this one compresses down to significantly less than that, and I wouldn't order one without the additional down top, because the feathers come out the bottom, but not the top, so with what is available here and at other places, I am not hesitating to repurchase this feather bed. In fact, the reason that I am buying a new one is because we put the feather topper on the mattress that we use in our theater room and it's so comfortable that we don't want to take it back off!

We bought this last year and while I never bothered to return it (too busy with a new baby to bother) it is a big disappointment. The thing would really have to be plumped every day, because it just collapses under you anyway. It feels sort of comfy when it's just been plumped and you first get into bed but by the next night, it's just sagged in where you slept (and I'm a petite woman, not heavy). It falls off the bed even with deep sheets because there are no straps to keep it in place. We have no time to take off my sheets and plump up the topper every single day, and that's very inconvenient anyway. I give 2 stars (instead of only 1) because it arrived fast, well-packaged, and appears to be decent quality, as in, it's good cotton and it is real down, plus it had instructions for set up. But really, this did NOT make our firm mattress much more comfortable at all, now I have to buy a new topper, and I have nothing to do with this one, which wasn't cheap. It just didn't do the job we bought it to do, which was to make our mattress feel more plush and comfortable. Would definitely not recommend.

The feathers bunch up to the ends, leaving the middle areas, where you sleep, completely flat. I rotate and fluff this at a minimum of 2 times per week and it still did not prevent the flatness from happening. This is an expensive featherbed for it to only last 8 months. I've been shaking the feathers down and up toward the middle for the last few weeks but it doesn't help. I'm not sure why they wont return to their usual place if they moved up and down in the first place. I want my money back.
