I was bit skeptical in terms of using the case cover as it was not charging the Apple pencil in the initial usage. But later I realised, I made a mistake while covering the pencil with case. I just flipped the case cover other way around where it was written MAGNETIC in the rounded rectangular box towards the magnetic side of the Pencil. After changing the side of the case cover by bringing the MAGNETIC rectangular box at the Magnetic side of the pencil and keeping on the iPad pro 12.9, it just not only sticked well on the ipad but also started getting charged, too. Highly recommended, if one is scared of getting pencil damaged by falling on the ground. Additionally, it does provide nice grip and confidence while using the pencil akin to others’s claim. It should not be working appropriately, if there is any case other than Apple’s Magic Keyboard.

This is a novelty item that you can use to dress up your ipad pencil when making videos or marketing content featuring your fancy apple pencil look. That's it. Other than that, for an actual silicon cover it is quite useless and horribly made. The silicon is so thick, it doesn't feel like a normal pencil/writing tool anymore, it feels like a small log. Also, it prevents charge when using the apple pencil with the ipad (without any ipad cover or case blocking the way), so it will also be incompatible with your case if you have one that covers the pencil charging point. Basically this Elago brand wants to be associated with Apple only in price, not in the intuitive product experience Apple has built its brand upon. Let's hope Amazon and the Seller let me post this review. Neither seems to care about being known for good, customer-approved products built with some sort of design thinking.

I've been very happy with this purchase; not only my apple pencil looks more stylish but I prefer the grip which is provided by this case rather than holding it without. Though I was disappointed to realize later that the apple pencil won't charge if you have this on WHILE your iPad has a case too. I have to remove the iPad case every time I have to charge my pencil. But still, I would recommend this case to everyone if you don't use a case for your iPad or you don't mind removing it for the pencil's charging

Quality product. Color look nice. Finish is good. Works exactly like advertised. Added girth for the pencil is actually reassuring while using it. Adds protection. Bit pricey though.

Since I didn’t see any product review of the pink one, I’mma do it myself! Pink is absolutely gorgeous!🎀 Just the right shade. Absolutely beautiful. Lightweight. Doesn’t hinder the functionality of the magnet. Charges normally. The case is sturdy and provides good protection. The quality could be better though as it’s rough around the edges. It will probably mellow out with daily usage. The only thing that bugs me (which I can still ignore) is that the magnet part sits opposite to the cut out side. Not a big bother just something a bit meh. That being said, absolutely love this case and the COLOUR!

The Pencil Case is a well-designed, durable product, but its charging solution is poorly thought out and difficult to use. The need to constantly remove and replace the case for charging purposes detracts significantly from its overall usefulness. While it does its job as a pencil case, the charging of the pencil was not thought about and that complicates what should be a simple and convenient experience. For these reasons, I would give it 2/5 stars.

The quality is good but still its very difficult to fit the pencil into it and removing also is a hazardous job. Overall it looks so bulky and will not fit into the ipad cover. Not worth the money

At first the magnetic charging didn't work but that was because I installed it the wrong way. (Look for the word saying magnetic on the sleeve, that's where the magnetic part of your pencil should go). Do note that my iPad case does not cover the magnetic side of it. The shape takes a while to get used to but eventually I did grow to like the thickened circumference of it. I didn't buy this for a long time because I didn't know if it was worth spending $17 on an sleeve rather than a cheaper $3 one on Aliexpress, but given the thickness and quality, as well as the tight fit which I struggled with from the Aliexpress ones, I think it's worth a try.

Unfortunately, wireless charging doesn’t work and hard to get the silicone off the Apple Pencil so it’ll be very inconvenient to take it off every time I need to charge it 🥲🥲 Other than that, it’s very comfortable and perfect size for taking notes and drawing. Design is also aesthetic and sleek.

I don’t pride myself in having much strength, but I had to get my dad to help me put it on. I was too excited at the beginning and put it on in the wrong side, so he had to take it off for me. In this way I do think that’s a good thing as it isn’t going to fall off or anything like that. The product is cute and I love it! It came with a little of dust on it and the box was slightly dented, but I couldn’t care less. I recommend this product!

Der Apple Pencil lädt auch in Kombination mit einer Hülle!!! Top! Ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Da hier so viele geschrieben haben, dass der Apple Pencil mit der Hülle in Kombination einer iPad Hülle nicht mehr lädt, wollte ich mich vom Gegenteil überzeugen. Es funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich habe den Apple Pencil Pro, ein iPad Air (2024) und die Hülle an meinem iPad ist die EST Shift (also die komplette Seite des Tablets ist verdeckt). Der Pencil hält nach wie vor magnetisch und läd auch. Alle Funktionen des Pro Pencils funktionieren auch ohne Probleme (Double Tap, Squeeze).
