Great invention
Follow the directions included! Read the directions 1,2 or more times before cutting anything because seresto collars are an investment. Lay out the 2 collars together on your counter before cutting. Make SURE the secure away collar is adjusted perfectly and allow room for the seresto underneath before measuring out your seresto to fit the INSIDE of it. You might want to consider allowing a little extra room than you usually do for your dogs collar to keep the seresto from directly touching your dogs skin. Just follow the directions carefully and you’ll be fine. The reason I say all of this is because I’ve been using seresto collars on my Pittie for several years now and when I got this set up done and put it around Bronx’s neck, within an hour he was shaking, anxious, continuously swallowing and several other symptoms. The collar was not too tight according to the 2 finger rule. But, it was in fact too tight as far as the seresto chemical reaction scenario. Fortunately I remembered the very first seresto I bought breaking my dogs neck out in a rash overnight because it was too close to his skin. So I assumed the reaction he was experiencing was due to this same mistake. It really scared us and we removed the collar immediately. It took a few hours for Bronx to seem like the symptoms were subsiding. Then my thoughts went to “crap, I just wasted $68” bc I had cut the seresto to the current adjustment of this new dog collar. I thought this over for a bit and 5 days later(the weekend) we decided to try again. This time, we adjusted this new collar out to be larger than we normally would adjust it. We used the same seresto although it was now almost an inch too short for what the recommendations are for combining these 2 collars but, it STAYS! It still worked for our dog. The seresto doesn’t try to come out from under the secure away so we were lucky in that and now that it’s not too close to Bronx’s skin, it’s all good! Love the idea, works great. Just think it all through before you cut anything and you should be fine.

Great quality
Works great! My dog is a lunatic, and he hasn’t managed to damage the collar at all. Flea collar is still intact, and usually he gets it off and chews it up in no time.

So far, so good
This product works great! I use it with a Seresto collar, and it definitely helps it stay in place. I have two pups (a Golden Retriever and a Siberian Husky) that love to play rough. I got extremely tired of finding their flea collard in the yard, house, etc. This collar helps avoid that issue when they insist on playing "bitey face." I have only had it a short while, but I will update a couple months down the road as to its durability.

Great invention!
We have had so much trouble with the seresto collars being somehow taken off and chewed up by our dogs. This thing 100% has worked to save the collars from destruction. The one downfall is that it takes a bit more work at bath time to remove and reapply. Great price, it allows the seresto collar to sit as it should and it does the job! It doesn’t seem to bother my dog to have the extra collar. It is washable just as any other collar and pretty durable so far!

It holds the flea collar in tact which is what I was hoping for.

Terrible fit with flea collar
This collar with the Seresto collar fit terrible. I purchased 2 different size collars for 2 different sized dogs and both were terrible. Collar needs work.

In theory it’s great but…
I loved the idea of being able to remove my pup’s flea/tick collar for grooming since it was very expensive, lasts for 8 months, but less time if worn during grooming. Stupid me…I can remove the flea/tick collar and put it back on, just like all the others with buckles. (Seresto f/t collars don’t have buckles, but you can remove and put back on.) Anyway, as you can see in my photo, the pieces which hold the f/t collar in place on the collar protrude quite a bit. In order to have the f/t collar close enough to my pup’s skin, the protruding pieces pushed into his neck. There are 4 of them. After a few weeks I decided to stop the discomfort I believe they caused to his neck. Having cut the f/t collar to fit inside the holder collar, I used tiny wire ties to fasten the f/t collar to the inside of my pup’s regular collar, with the hard fasteners to the outside. Problem solved. When it’s time to replace my two dogs’ f/t collars, I’ll just put them on in addition to their regular collars, like I’ve done with my other dog. Can’t return this collar or the brand new one I bought and didn’t put on my other dog, because it’s outside of the return time.Like I said in the beginning, it’s a good idea, but not necessary unless, like me, you need to buy everything under the sun for your dog, whether it’s practical or not, then worry about their comfort and return it. I gave this collar 3 stars for being a good idea. ☺️
