Delrin Tipped Brass Hammer

This one (left) has more weight at the head than the cheaper ones in Amazon with the replaceable heads. It was shocking how much it made a difference in quickly punching in and out pins and sights. I'd recommend this a dozen times over the cheap ones. One side is delarin, which is a very durable and slick plastic that works great when marring is an issue. I haven't used that side much to see how it holds up, and honestly, I'm still using the cheaper hammer for that until it's chewed up and dead. I used it once and it didn't chip away though, as I didn't notice much wear.

Bought the 4 oz a year ago. Put it in my toolbox and just used it. The handle is defective. The head is not perpendicular to the handle. Emailed Grace Co. Sent them a pic and offered to mail back the defective hammer. Got a response the next day saying they will mail me a new one and to keep the old one. Just got it. Perfect. Now that’s what I call excellent customer service. BTW the hammer is great for repairing firearms.

Great hammer! Can tell the American Made build quality right when you pick it up. Do yourself a favor and buy American made QUALITY that last more then 3 uses, unlike the foreign made junk you find! Support American workers and American Products! You won't be sorry.

Wow. The handle says "USA" in bold black letters -- right next to the splinters. I don't know how this product received so many good reviews, unless I got the worst item to come off the assembly line. The handle looks like it was whittled by a 4 year-old.

Dandy little hammer for building an AR15. Very controllable hammer...less chance to bugger up your lower. Just remember it's a four ounce hammer...I used it with great success on my last two builds.
