LorAnn Hi Sweet Powdered Corn Syrup - 5 pounds

Iwas wondering about this stuff being avble to work in my hard candy recipe, or if i would have to adjust the water content at all, but i didnt and it worked fine. as soon as water hits this stuff it instantly desolves. So no aditional liquid is required. It can still sieze up on you so, still take all regular precations. Suckers turned out great, and you cant tell the difference between the ones made with this, and the ones made with regular corn syrup. Ill be ordereing this product again, for sure.

I wanted to try making herbal candies but worried it might not set in Florida's high humidity. The product arrived today along with my order of candy molds and Lorann's flavor oils and food coloring. I just followed the simple directions on the box and got lovely results. Candy set up in about 30 minutes with no sickiness , just smooth and wonderful. The Hi Sweet powdered corn syrup is a great solution for candy making in humid climates!

I LOVE the product. It made my apples turn out 100% better. They didn’t get sticky and didn’t have pin holes. I took them to an event & they lasted all day.

I purchased this item as I was told it will prevent candy apples from becoming sticky in humid weather. That wasn’t my experience they still got sticky. After placing them in the fridge they were no longer sticky so I’m going to give 4 stars.

I made hard candies for a school function. I like the powdered corn syrup because it prevents the candies from getting sticky when it's warm/humid outside.

Rock hard candy that stands up to the humid conditions in our basement. Other corn syrups will turn to squishy goo.

I just started using the powdered form of corn syrup and I like it better. I make homemade suckers and other candies with this.

Product arrived on time and properly packaged. No moisture issues. Wear gloves if you are going to handle this it will mix with any dampness from your hands and become very sticky.

Was just what I was looking for.
