Great for the price, good quality
We needed to fit to loft hatch to replace a push latch and enable an air tight seal. This works perfectly and was easy to install. I replaced the screws on the catch with longer ones as I wanted to use with seal tape and didn't want to risk the pressure popping the screws unexpectedly. Slams shut perfectly and is easy to open. Definitely recommend for loft hatch.

Easy to install
I liked how easy this was to install, with the exception that one of the screws lost its head to easily, or maybe I was too enthusiastic with the screwdriver. Either way I needed to replace it with another screw to finish the job. Not installed in my attic latch, it serves it purpose and appears secure. I am tempted to buy a second for extra security. But it seems well made but 4 stars rather than 5 becuase of the quality of the supplied screws.

Dangerous! Attached well but fell apart after one use, causing the loft hatch to swing down and if anyone was underneath they would have been killed.

Does the job. Check sizing
Good quality for the price. Need to check the distance between hatch opening and loft lid as the opening gap is not huge.

Easy to fit, works great!
Our existing loft hatch had one of those push latches, which meant every time we had to open it the paintwork ended up getting scratched or having grubby finger prints all over it. I've just finished redecorating my landing and after spending an hour meticulously painting the loft hatch I didn't want it getting scratched up again the first time I needed to go up there. I saw this latch and it looked ideal. I had it fitted in 5 minutes, just a quick measure and 4 screws. Now I can just pull the latch back and the hatch drops down and pushing it up just clicks into place. Simple design, simple life and no more scatches!

Broke after a month
The locking mechanism snapped in half within a month. Made of poor quality metal, not fit for purpose
