what can I say bout this book? isn't my rating enough to say I really really loved this book!! I am so glad I could take part in blog tour for this book and didn't cancel it even though I have exams coming up!let me tell you how I felt about this awesome book. because my ratings aren't enough! I need to tell you, I need to get it out of my heart about how much I so much loved this book!! This book was intense , emotional, heartbreaking!! So full of romance and emotion .This book has secrets which will just leave you shocked and wanting for more! so many books consume you and this one did for me. Beck and Dee has been going on and off for years ...why? why can't Dee accept Beck ? what's her problem ? We finally have answers and answers aren't easy. so prepare yourself for a rollercoaster . This book takes us back from Starting of Beck And Dee's relationship. There will be no spoilers but one thing.be ready with a tissue. this book is best. and it will make you cry because its awesome and you can't stop reading and its exciting and addicting.Dee is fighting her past and no one knows why?Beck is trying to there for her and love her still.The characters are awesome. Beck is a sweetheart. Dee could be frustrating but she develops into amazing person.There is Greg and Axel , Maddox and Coop to keep you happy company in between.A perfect blend of romance, suspense, friendship, love, emotion and finding yourself again :)

I so love books told in first person...and I especially loved reading this story from two POV. The male/female POV...both H/h getting equal time. Superb! I SO loved Dee's character. How can you not?!? She's genuine....so human! She's kind hearted, honest and selfless; she's "down-to-earth" and REAL. And she's also damaged... struggling with wounds of profound abuse. Deep inside she's struggling.From an early age, Denise (Dee) Roberts has believed you can never trust a boy - - they only care about themselves. All the men in her life, from her father to her boyfriends have let her down...never wanting her or caring about her...certainly never loving her. Her boyfriends used her for the attention & benefits garnered from her father. Being distrustful of the male species in general is deeply ingrained into Dee's way of thinking. In her entire life, she has never felt loved, wanted or accepted. Never. So she grows into her adulthood determined to make it on her own - - never get involved in serious relationships.Dee is quite intelligent...she's strong and proud of her accomplishments. But most importantly, she's independently successful. She wears a continuous facade of happiness when deep down she's lonely and miserably alone. Deep down she wants someone to hold hands with through life...but she won't let anyone in. She keeps her walls of protection constantly and firmly in place. Dee wears many "masks"...never revealing her true self. It's ingrained in her to hide...she is to all people what they need her to be. She's a master at disguising her feelings......but when she meets John (Beck) Beckett, he see's right through her and the attraction is mutually strong.Beck (32) craves Dee and that has never happened to him before...wanting a woman to such depths. This is new territory for him. He see's through Dee's many masks - - her facades of happiness that never reach her eyes. It's amazing to him that the few friends that know her, that love her, are totally oblivious to her pain. He see's the fear and pain Dee tries to hide...he just doesn't know WHY she harbors such turmoil, but he's determined to not give up on her, because the attraction and love he feels for her is undeniably powerful. So, Beck is determined to find the diamond hidden beneath all the dirt. He wants more with Dee. He wants a relationship. He wants an "us"...he wants to claim her as his and his alone.I absolutely loved this story of consuming romance with a little bit of real, emotionally packed drama. And even though the drama in this story is completely predictable, I have to say I still thoroughly enjoyed the plot with it's serious message of PTSD and living through emotional trauma. The abuse that Dee endures and survives absolutely tore through me. This authors' detailed description was so raw and revealing.I thought this Author did a fabulous job of delivering a commanding, romantic plot with a few humorous moments between Sway, Greg, Maddox, Axel and Coop. All such great personalities with devotion to each other. This author does a suburb job with character description and reinforces it throughout the book. The plot never unravels or disintegrates. The story kept me captivated throughout. I loved that Beck is Dees' saving grace, and she was his. I thought the narrative and dialogue was nicely balanced and original.

Harper's books just keep getting better and better! This book had me run the full spectrum of emotions - anger, sorrow, joy, and love. I will never look at gold glitter without thinking of this series. A must read book that will touch the deepest parts of the readers soul.

Wow! Harper Sloan surprised me. Again! "Axel" was about love lost and found with heartbreak and suspense, "Cage" was funny with lots of anxiety and drama, "Beck" was totally different - again. Yes, the sex was as hot as in the previous books. But there was so much more. The story started out funny, turned into dramatic romance and twisted again until I held my Kindle in a white-knuckled grip and definitely needed tissues. Having finally read this one, I totally understand the need for secrecy here. This was unbelievable!What Dee had to endure and how she reacted made her even more lovable. Beck stood by her side until she opened up, which was really adorable. He wasn't as dominant as Axel or overprotective like Cage. He was Beck. And that was enough and totally awesome.This is really a good follow-up and I can't wait for the next installment about Cooper. And I need to learn the story behind Maddox Locke even more now.

But the writing, the storyline and the oh my s*x scenes were so beautiful (&hot) that it truly merits all 5 Stars.We met Beck in the first two books, and to be honest, he was a bit of an ass. Well OK, he was a huge ass.We leave Dee in Book #2 as a pretty sorry looking person and in the beginning of Book #3, she seems to do little to help herself.Well...She DOES have HOT STEAMY SHAKE THE ROOM s*x with Beck!!I'm pretty sure I blacked out. H ell, I might've died and gone to heaven, had tea with Jesus, then fallen back to earth. He is that good.There is more action in this book - both S*x action and Heart Stopping drama. It honestly has you on the edge of your chair (or wherever you like to read) from about chapter 4.Be prepared - at around the 80%ish mark your heart will be ripped from your chest and I dare you not to shed a tear.Me??Oh, I bawled like a baby.Excellent Book - Please go and read it.Oh and Remember..."Tomorrow is never a guarantee; live life to the fullest and never stop smiling"

Again Sloan takes your emotions and runs with them getting sucked into this series and the boys from Corps Security is a good thing you will always want more.In this book we see Dee and Beck embark on the journey of love and torment we are let into Dees world of the past couple of years and see her heartbreaking story evolve with the help of Becks she overcomes some amazing rough patches and re connects with her best friends Greg and Isabelle. We are also introduced to two new charters being Ash, Coops younger brother and Dee personal assistant.Harper has once again wowed me with her writing
