Highwin Kitchen Counter Top Stainless Steel Compost Bin - 1 Gallon Capacity, Odor Absorbing Charcoal Filter

This is a very sturdy and rather large stainless steel bin. I am impressed with its ruggedness; it seems quite substantial, but not too heavy to carry--fully loaded--to the compost heap. It has a filter installed and a back-up filter included. It holds about a week's worth of organic scraps from my kitchen. Should it not fulfill my current high expectations, I will amend this review in the future.

This is a very sturdy and handsome container and larger than I had imagined and if you have it,you'll use it! This is one of my impulse buys that turned out well. If you're recycling those used KeurigK-cups (yeah, that's part of the deal), this is where the grounds go. This is really a nice, well made and veryuseful addition to the kitchen. I highly recommend it.

I really like this product. It easily cleaned and no odors.

This was my first foray into composting. I think the can is totally fine, however after further research I would probably get one that allows me to collect the "tea" from the bottom. Other than that though, I've had no smell and it's been under the kitchen sink for over a month (I put it in sunshine now and again and also stir it!).A solid piece and it smells super bad when I open it, so I'm very impressed how well it keeps the stink in.

good scrap holder. It's bigger than I thought,,,,and I don't like having to buy charcoal filters, but it works good,,,,except for the gnats in the house.
