Reliable and compact storage solutions
The media could not be loaded. The Seagate One Touch 1TB External HDD is a fantastic storage device! It’s compact, fast, and easy to use. The sleek design and plug-and-play functionality make it perfect for backups or expanding storage. Highly reliable and great value for money. A must-have for anyone needing extra space!

Less space than advertized
The hard drive is advertised as 5TB, however when you will get the product and attach it to a device to use it. You will get to know the drive is only 4.5TB. which is almost 500GB less than the company's claims.This happened due the calculation of the size TB.You see company's calculate the size with a perticular formula, which is not 100% accurate and nor 100% false. Which means the accuracy of that formula is 85-90%, which in the process of calculation lead to the size being shown INCREASED than the actual size. Hence the 4.5TB drive become 5TB which you will receive.And this is with all the storege devices of any size. You will get less storage than the company advertised. And this is not due to the software pre-installed on drive it is due to the calculation of the size as I mentioned above.So, if your requirement is bigger than 4.5TB, than go for more storage space device, than this one.The tranfer speed of the product is good only when it is connected to an i5 or above processing processor & windows 11. If you use any other windows or processor there will be significant reductions in speed of the device.The weight of the product is light, which is good and easy to carry around. And can be fit in pocket as well.The product's looks and feel, when u hold the product in your hand is premium.

MY CHOICE OF 2gb EXTERNAL DRIVE
1. Very sleek, handy, lightweight, fits into shirt pocket.2. Data transfer rate excellent.3. Very compact, lightweight and portable for "on the go" professionals who have to present huge amonts of data, videos, presentations etc in their professional careers.4. Somewhat expensive --- a great disincentive to buy this item.

2TB HDD
I have purchased 2TB HDD , but when I see it's showing only 1.81 TB , almost 200 GB Space gone ...other copying speed is upto 48MB/S ...till now the product is good ...only space reduced...

Extreme Heat, use Kitchen Utensils as Cooling Pad.
Incredible HDD! However the heat is a problem.So this HDD heats up like crazy after writing data for about 20 minutes.-You can't copy data for more than 20 minutes or 50gb at once. You have to take a 1 hour break to let the drive cool down before working again.-If you have metal surface or kitchen utensils then use that to dissipate heat, along with a fan. A FAN IS A MUST IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS DRIVE PROPERLY.

Deliberate MisInformation, Unethical Selling and NO RETURN available on Amazon for this seller
Fradulent Selling Practice by providing Misinformation deliberately to the Cutomer while purchasing the product. The product comes with a downloadable link to Recovery Software to be installed on the laptop with a License key for 3 years, as has been done always in the past. now Segate says they have discontinued the practice. Why is the Seller not fully and Authentically selling the Product rather than NOT offering whats promised, and NO RETURNS. Just shows how desperate and Unethical services are being provided by the Seller on Amazon. Amazon should not encourage this kind of fradulent practices to its customers please.
