This black backpack has turned out to be a great bag for me. I use it every day for work. It’s very reasonably priced for the nice all-around quality, and is somewhat surprisingly highly functional. It looks professional, and I’ve gotten compliments and questions about it from fellow musicians. I really like this bag’s “doctor’s bag” type of stay-open top design. I like being able to zip open the top, and have the top stay wide open with an effective but *not too heavy* cloth covered metal support behind the seams. This turns the backpack effectively into a portable, vertical sheet music file cabinet, where it’s really easy to search through the neatly arranged, vertically-in-place music folders and find what I’m looking for quickly. I can even fit my oversized orchestra hard cover folder in this bag, without the bag itself seeming to be huge. In the past, I’ve looked at other “doctor’s bags” type of backpacks, and they were all very heavy and wouldn’t stay upright because of the overly top-balanced heavy metal frame. This bag isn’t anything like those horrible bags, with much better balance and really quite a light weight. The outside front panel pocket is zippered, and this large “pocket” is ideal for storage of music glasses, a metronome, a tuner, pencils, and so on, with inside pockets that secure electronics. The backpack is surprisingly lightweight on the shoulders, and comfortable, with well-padded shoulder straps and a top handle for hand carrying. My black bag has a sleek, professional appearance, and works well next to my chair on stage. The zippers have worked easily and smoothly with no episodes getting stuck or caught. There’s been no chemical or other odor. The stitching is all good, with no loose threads or seams about to give way. The one thing where this bag could be even better is if the front pocket zipper had TWO-WAY zipper pulls, working from either side to open or close. (The bag’s TOP zipper is two-way.) I had some stuff fly out of the pocket when I forgot to completely zip around the curves of the pocket, and it was open. I would not think of returning the backpack for that one element, however. It’s too nicely functioning of a bag overall, and I’m using it daily for work now. That’s so much more than I expected. I got this expecting to use it as an auxiliary back-up bag. It turns out to be a favorite of among my many music bags and backpacks. I don’t know for sure if it will last for 20 years, but so far, all signs are good it will be long-lasting. Why pay 4 times more for a big name brand’s trademark? Now how about putting a two-way zipper on the front storage pocket, backpack makers?

I like this bag light weight and sturdy color is very nice I have the purple has nice pockets and it fits all my music love that it is easy to find things in the bag.

Last year I purchased one of these in a light green/teal color and I absolutely loved it. This year when I decided to get a new one in a more neutral color, Lovevook was the first brand I went to because I had lived last years version so much.My MacBook Pro 2020 16” fits like a dream and there’s even a second padded pocket that my iPad fits in as well.It’s very comfortable to wear or to carry like a briefcase. I mainly use mine for work, travel, carrying to meetings and working on the go. There are tons of pockets and I even found another charger cable storage bag to match it and it fits perfectly in the front pocket where I’d planned to tuck it.The grey color I chose is exactly what I was searching for and the gold zipper just gives it a more sophisticated and higher end look. Water bottles fit perfectly in both side pockets as well.When looking for a laptop bag, I was hoping to find something that would open from the top and this bag does just that. The opening is fitted with a frame on the inside of the stitching, so it hold its shape when loading/unloading and makes it very easy to access what your looking for, without having to hold up the bag and search blindlessly.I also love the little strap on the back, which slides onto my luggage handle when traveling. Plus it has a charge port on the side, so you can plug in your electronics from inside the bag and just have the cable on the outside. This bag would also make a great carry on!I can’t say enough good things and will keep coming back to this brand because their craftsmanship is impeccable and their bags are quite durable. I feel like they even improved the quality of the fabric used as last years had a more linen feel and this years feels more water resistant and sturdier.If you have this on your wishlist, don’t wait any longer. They have tons of designs and fabric colors to choose from. I went with darker grey as I figured it would match everything in my office, my laptop case that’s coming soon and my clothing too. I keep it hanging on the back of my office door and when it’s empty it folds in nice and narrow as you can see in the photo. Love, love, LOVE this bag! Will use for many years to come.

Saw a women with this backpack and thought it was a very expensive designer bag. She gave me info to order from Amazon and was very surprised at the reasonable price(it was on sale). Well made, great features like padded pocket for I pad, well designed with various sized pockets for cosmetics, water bottle, cell phone- even has a charger port.

Overall I like this backpack, but the "dark purple" shade is very different in person. Rather than the beautiful eggplant purple shown on the listing, in reality it appears more like a medium fuchsia. Much pinker and not as dark as I expected. In my photo, I have placed the bag between dark purple and lavender pillows for comparison/context on the actual color. A true dark eggplant purple + gold is my favorite color combination, so I was disappointed to see this when I opened the package. (I also steamed the bag twice over to get rid of the wrinkles; be prepared for a *very* wrinkly bag upon arrival.)Disappointment with the color aside, I'm glad I got this bag. The many pockets make it so much easier to organize & find my stuff, the straps are impressively comfortable, the exterior water bottle pockets are perfect, and the rectangle shape made it easy to slip large photo prints in and out while at a convention all day. The top zipper was a little stubborn to open sometimes, but otherwise the backpack made my life easier. It will definitely be my go-to bag for future conventions and/or work travel.

I am a secondary school teacher and this backpack not only looks great but it fits a lot of teacher stuff: laptop, power cord, water bottle, several books, pencil case, phone, hand lotion, keys, glasses...Everything has a place! The shoulder straps are easy to adjust and the top opening is reinforced with steel rods, so it keeps its shape. Have only had it for about 6 weeks and so far it's wearing very well. I also love the strong handles on the top. Recommended by my coworker and I'm glad I listened to her.

I was looking for a good sized and stylish backpack for work as I prefer to keep my hands free during my commute. I had a similar backpack previously from a different company but felt it was not big enough to hold my laptop plus lunch, water bottle, wallet, etc. I ordered the largest size for this bag and it's perfect! The material is durable and looks great! Lots of pockets outside and in. The only thing I would have liked is if the front flap pocket had zippers that opened both ways like the big opening at the top does. I feel like when I open it, items that are not secured could fall out. That's my only criticism about this great comfy bag!

The bag may be wrinkled at first opening my package, moreover it still looks good. It is also in good condition.- stylish, comfortable & lightweight- fabric/material quality- Many compartmentsI tried to do a water drop test, so far it is a water-resistant material (it repel against some small amount of water) . But, I didn’t test it yet if it can be waterproof against rain or other liquid/stain.I will update my review just in case if something is wrong.
