Amazing tool for young learners
Great tool for aspiring chess player. It's easy to set up and to follow for kids

A great app for younger and older children!
Our Tacto chess arrived last weekend and I’m even more impressed than I expected to be. The figurines are a really good size for little hands and seem very well made. The app actually teaches the child how to play chess so no parental knowledge is needed - this was brilliant for me. The themes are great for making the game child friendly. My little one isn’t actually 6 yet and still enjoyed playing it. The only thing to keep in mind for younger children is that there is a little bit of reading, for example ‘your king will be checked’ but I wouldn’t let this put you off getting the app if your child is less than 6. I’m already looking to see which app to get next!

It's not worth it.
It doesn't work properly and you can't even play some games.

keeps cutting out.
The other games are fine but this one keeps cutting out midway through the game and it doesn't save previous game. Its very frustrating. its such a great idea and if it worked properly it would be fab. My son has got through 1 out of 7 games which didn't cut out. one more try before returning.

I am so happy with this purchase. My 10 year old knew a little about chess and my 7 year old knew nothing. This was a great game that explains all the rules (no parent knowledge needed) and you can play games with the computer or another person. What I love is that when you pick a piece to move, it shows the potential ways you can move. Would purchase again!

Best trainer for my son aged 7. He likes to revise the lessons, play with AI, or with me on iPad.

Trying for more than an hour to get the app working. It can’t download, and comes with poor network and server access error. It’s safe to say that even with a 100mbps urban connection in the financial district, it can’t connect to its servers. Money flushed down the drain.
