Very good flavor without being too strong. Some brands taste almost burnt, but not this one. Good price also.

Coconut sugar organic 365 Whole Foods

I was concerned at first that this would have a strong coconut flavor but it doesn’t! It has a slight coconut taste mixed with a brown sugar taste. It is the consistency of granulated sugar - granules are a little larger. I have used it in place of granulated sugar in oatmeal cookies and in chocolate chip cookies with excellent results.It costs more than white sugar but it is a little healthier and has a very nice flavor.

I was looking for an organic substitute for sugar and after researching many different product brands, this one seemed like it might be what I was looking for. I primarily wanted it to add a bit of sweetness to my black coffee and knowing the health benefits of coconut and that organic is not a label the can be arbitrarily used on a label, I decided to give it a try.The amount of product included makes this an excellent value and although the product tends to cake up a bit, it is easily broken apart into smaller texture which dissolves very readily in coffee. Overall, I feel it to be a quality alternative to regular sugar and to artificial sweeteners, it does have a specific taste that just is not for me. It is definitely a good product and I would encourage anyone looking an organic, quality sweetening alternative to give it a try and do not base your buying decisions on my taste.

Wow this is a game changer! I hadn't ever heard of coconut palm sugar but I had a recipe that called for one teaspoon. Wondering what to do with the rest of the bag I started putting it in my coffee and I love it! I'm so glad I found this product!
