I have had many versions of this lock. This one is the best version I have seen so far on the market. I previously used the Combi-bolt version and several generic versions of this lock. It never mattered which version you used, the sliding mechanism would always come loose if you unscrewed the knob. And then you could pull it out of the sliding mechanism. You could also slide the knob to the left once it was unlocked and it would reset the password. The dials would sometimes get stuck or hard to turn. That is simply not the case with this version. Not only does this version of the lock look more sturdy but the sliding knob doesn't unscrew. To reset the lock you have to take the pin that is located on the side of the lock out of the mechanism in order to reset. I highly recommend this version if anyone is looking to replace their combi bolt or similar sliding locks!

Excellent lock. Only reason 4 stars was because the instructions to set the combination were not very good. Other than that, very nice. Placed on shed so I didn’t have to go back inside to get keys for lock every time I needed something from shed. It also allows those that need access to get into shed if I am not there. I just give them the combination.It is very heavy so if you need slide lock for something small, may not be the best choice. Perfect for my wooden shed door.

Though the instructions were in a foreign language my husband figured it out and was able to install. We needed a drill for the nails to go into the wood we needed it to. It works well and combination was easy to set.

Looks great , easy to install

I bought this lock to use on a closet in my home so I can secure my personal items when I rent my apartment. I have four similar locks that operate in the same way & they are all programmed with the same code. I just got home and would love to access my personal items after a long day but this lock is nit working and the warrantee/ customer service link does not work. I am hoping the seller has a solution so I do not have to replace a very expensive door.

Seems well built, but not as secure as other locking options. Take note: have it exactly where it needs to be BEFORE driving in the one-way security screws. They are not removable like standard screws. But that is the whole purpose of them.

Easy to set up

Instructions don't tell you about the pull tab you need to remove to set the combination. Make sure you measure, mark and pre-drill holes for screws...they're security screws (as they should be) so you can't back them out if you mess up.

Save your money and Just buy directly from AliExpress... No instructions and cheap china quality

This is a great sliding lock. It looks great in stainless steel, installs easily.

The bolt is not stainless steel, it is only chromium plated standard steel. Der Bolzen ist nicht Edelstahl, sondern nur verchromter Normalstahl.
