Now available on Bloodshot Colored Vinyl! Shout at the Devil is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on September 26, 1983. It was the band's breakthrough album, establishing Mötley Crüe as one of the top selling heavy metal acts of the 1980s. The singles ''Looks That Kill'' and ''Too Young to Fall in Love'' were moderate hits for the band. Shout at the Devil was Mötley Crüe's breakthrough success, bringing them to international attention. The album's title and the band's use of a pentagram brought the band a great deal of controversy upon its 1983 release, as Christian and conservative groups claimed the band was encouraging their listeners to worship Satan. The album was one of the breakthrough releases of what was to become the 1980s ''hair metal'' movement, and was very influential in that regard.

Not Bad For a Sophomore LP
Like I said, pretty decent follow up to Too Fast For Love, but you could totally hear the difference in the production from the first album to this one. The songs to me seemed to have close to the same energy as Too Fast, but here’s what I meant by the over produced albums losing that edge that makes those songs what they really are! Eventually they found good ‘ol Bob Rock who gave them the sound that finally fit! Tommy’s drums have never sounded so huge, and unbelievably tasteful!

Not the cover art we anticipated
We ordered this vinyl to display the album artwork (chosen due to picture displayed) and received an all black cover instead. Very disappointed.

Love the Red album
Just like everyone else has dated, the cover of the album is no correct as advertised, but the inside when you open there is a picture of all four members, which is really cool. In terms of the record, I find it to be amazing, the red is cool and it plays great.. it would have been a five star, if the cover it would have been correct..

One Motley of a Crew!
This album rocked when it came out and still does. One of the best rock band to emerge out of the 80's. They should do one more album!!! 'Hotter than hell' should of been released on this album back in 83! We all would of loved it.

I got shout at the devil the album but it wasn’t the one advertised. Disappointing business continues to false ad something and think it’s alright to sell it

Arrived better than expected...
Very very happy with purchase, arrived as the reissue of 1500 L.E. LP with red and black vinyl. To say it came from the US to the UK it arrived in excellent condition but must have been roughed up a bit when put into the original packaging as there's a couple of torn edges, which will have been made in production. Not listened to yet but I hear the sound quality is top notch from the original analogue master tapes and better than the original pressing.
