Tri Ball Hitch with Shacke and Hitch Lock

I bought this to go on my new truck. I like it and have found it to be a versatile and attractive hitch. Yes, the paint flakes off after towing...a trailer weighing several thousand pounds bouncing around will do that. If you don't like it, get something stainless. I've used the shackle to pull shrubs up, and it's worked well under load. Yes, the hitch bounces and makes some noise. Larger hitches tend to do that. Seems very sturdy. The lock works well, although it is a little longer than necessary.

Seems sturdy, the lock works quickly to engage . Easy , mindless install.

Sturdy and gets the job done. Just finished towing a trailer with the 2" ball and I'll be using the shackle to pull a car a few miles this evening, so we'll see how that goes. Removed one star for a few minor reasons: 1. The lockong pin is super long and rattles like a sonuvagun, so you might want to do what I did and cut a piece of rubber tube to slip over it and snug it up. 2. It sticks out extremely far. Unnecessarily far, in my opinion. But it's tolerable, just watch your shins when you walk around the back and bear it in mind when you're backing up. 3. Don't expect the black paint to stay on if you intend on actually using it. First use and I've got the 2" ball almost completely down to bare metal. If you just want it for looks it'll last, otherwise don't be surprised when it starts to look ugly. Function over fashion for me.

Everything is as you would expect from a top dollar brand like Curt or Reese but with a much lower price tag. The included locking pin is an added bonus as well. Though the D-ring screw will come undone if you don't tighten down.

Quick shipping; haven’t towed yet but I already used the spinning hitch portion to quickly pull my tractor out of the woods. Just hope the locking pin doesn’t give me throughly like the locking Reese brand pin did after only 6 months (had to cut the Reese pin off with a grinding wheel!) Follow up: works great! Used ball hitch to tow my trailer and also the ring to use in towing a car with a rope - quickly and easily. Would recommend. The black paint does rub and wear off, but no harm there!

I bought this for drivers that get too close . I don't know about towing with it, but it seems sturdy enough. Like the 3 sizes for towing.

No need for different tow hitch pieces. Gives versatility and interchangeable options as the need arises. Cost is reasonable and my job time is a quick rotation switch. Adequate usage.
