Cobbler's Choice Men's Cedar Boot Tree - All Natural Aromatic Cedar Wood - Premium Construction & Unbeatable Quality

These are excellent cedar boot/shoe trees. I insert them overnight after I wear my boots and shoes to help remove moisture, and to help the boot’s and shoe’s maintain their shape. Using cedar trees helps prevent premature aging in footwear.

These look great with a beautiful blend of cedar color. The brass is nice, the wood is sanded nicely and smells great. I love the articulation of the pieces and spring action to get a snug fit. easy to get into my boots without too much force. As far as size goes, I usually wear size 13 shoes of all kinds. I bought these for my RW Iron Rangers, size 11.5. Initially I purchased XL shoe trees and had to exchange them for XXL as they were too short to apply spring pressure when installed. The XXL fits snug and apples pressure, helping smooth the leather wrinkles some. I would purchase these again for any other leather boots I purchase in the future. I have other cobblers choice products and recommend all of them.

Package arrived today. Everything was well wrapped inside with no damage. The wonderful smell of cedar hits you when you first open the box. They are very smooth and durable considering they are raw untreated wood, so you don't have to worry about any rough surfaces damaging the inside of your favorite boots. They definitely fill out the toe box with the split-toe design and help keep the shape better overall. It will also make polishing and general care much easier once the boots are laced up. Definitely worth the investment for storing your favorite boots, especially leather. The bare cedar wood is great for moisture and odor control, it also helps keep bugs away during storage. If needed they can be lightly sanded to bring back the strong cedar smell. Why I only gave them 4 stars : There is 2 downsides I can see. 1) Sizing is for 12/13 Mens (XL). If these were in anything bigger than a men's size 12 (Doc Martens), I feel they might be a bit small as there is not alot of tension in the rear heel area when you push them in and down. They are perfect for size 12 DM's though. 2) They are only really good for lower profile boots. Anything taller than an 8-eye boot and you might need something to fill the top like newspaper or a sock to keep the upper shape better for long storage. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and will continue to get them for my favorite boots (DM's).

The quality of these boot trees is fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to return both sets due to sizing, because I have a different pair of boots and they didn't fit right, but it was the boots, not the trees. I wouldn't hesitate buying these again., for a different pair of boots, though.

I ordered these for use in a new pair of Crispi Briksdal Mountain boots size 11.5 wide. Based on other review comments I decided to order the XL and they fit perfectly. The Brikdal boots are full synthetic and some reviews of the boot suggest they are prone to shrinkage if not properly cared for to include use of a boot tree when not in use. I'm please with the Cobbler's Choice boot tree and already have them in my boots.

I wear a size 43 DD (9.5-10 wide) and a large fit perfectly. It provides support back to where my boot creases when I walk, just behind the toe plate area. If I tighten the lases slightly after it also supports the back of the boot that can also crinkle after moisturizing the leather.

Funktionieren sehr gut und sind sowohl von der Qualität als auch der Funktion eine sehr gute Alternative für z.B. Red Wing oder andere einschlägige Marken. Dabei ist (zumindest war das bei meinem Kauf so) der Preis etwas günstiger. Größe passt wie angegeben und das Holz ist auch echt Zeder.

Fitted perfectly and way cheaper than those from Jermyn Street.

Bought these for my son's Redwing boots and they fit size 9 perfectly; bought large ones. He was well happy!
