Great practical tips
I always buy books to help me with my mental health. I have been seen the glass "half empty" for few years (specially since the pandemic). This book is like talking to a very knowledgeable not judgemental friend. What I loved is the fact it gives you many different tips to deal with it. The author doesn't push everything but tells you many ways so you can pick the ones that might work for you. I have a photo of my favourite tip. It's about "naming it". I am going through interviews and I sometimes take reject too personally (on top of my poor self-esteem and other more worries). I named it and instantly detached it from my persona. I treated it like dealing with a teenager. I instantly felt better and continued. I attached a table of contents so you can see what's inside.

Very nicely laid out, simple and to the point
Really enjoying this so far, I'm not quite finished but finding I resonate with most of what's being said. The section on positive self talk is so important and something I teach children at work, however it always seems so easy to encourage others but not so much ourselves.Nice to see it mention exercise and diet, it's something I've neglected over lockdown so definitely something to work on.

Good energy boost
I have found myself battling with negative thoughts more and more as I spend more time at home (alone) due to COVID. I believe a lot of people are in the same situation as me, therefore would really recommend this book. It’s a really quick/easy read, and quite insightful. It gives a lot of good practical advices on how to overcome these thoughts, and has definitely helped me to get back on track.

Could be useful.
This book has some helpful tips to recognise and overcome negative thinking patterns. If you haven’t read any books regarding negative thinking, I would recommend this one as your first. I had read a few before this and there’s lots of similarities. But the author is trying to put across a great message and I’ve definitely taken a few things from it! Through no fault of the author, the book arrived with some marks I had to clean off the cover.. and there were one or two typos, so four stars from me.

Common knowledge
It will be useful for someone who needs some basic help. It’s everything I’ve read and heard of before so for me it wasn’t useful. I’m sure it will help some people who are starting out with finding out more about negative thinking
